A Navy serviceman faced rigorous punitive measures earlier this year for a failed attempt to obtain unapproved access to President Biden’s classified medical records, shared a military correspondent. The unsanctioned approach took place on February 23; the individual involved was attached to the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command stationed at Fort Belvoir, residing in Northern Virginia. Navy sources maintained the serviceman’s anonymity and revealed that he had sought ‘Joseph Biden’ in a defense health infrastructure electronic repository thrice within an odd span of hours, attributing his actions to a pursuit of ‘curiosity’. Both CBS News and ABC News mentioned this disciplinary repercussion beforehand.

President Biden, now aged 81, has recently undergone critical debates concerning his physical well-being and cognitive faculties due to his tepid showing at the debate held on June 27. This lacklustre performance has further provoked an increasing faction of Democrats to demand that he surrender his re-election efforts. In the curious episode involving the Navy, a fellow worker of the indulged serviceman brought to light the possible infringement of medical confidentiality laws. Thereafter, a Naval Criminal Investigative Service probe took place, which concluded on the 24th of April, relayed Commander Hawkins.

The record that this serviceman endeavored to access was not that of the current US president, as Commander Hawkins clarified through email. He also reassured that, throughout the incident, President Biden’s personal details remained uncompromised. In response to queries, the Navy did not disclose the specifics of the punitive action endorsed. Biden’s campaign managers shunted any queries involving this incident towards the White House, however, they fell silent when reached out for commentary.

Despite the public scrutiny and curiosity surrounding the health records of the two oldest competitors for the presidency in history, neither Mr. Biden nor the previous President, Donald J. Trump, has been forthcoming with their medical records. Of late, the Biden administration has come under fire following revelations that a specialist from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, renowned for his expertise in Parkinson’s disease, was invited to the White House for a staggering eight times over the course of the past eight months. Evidently, this time period spanned from the previous summer to the recent spring, with the expert at least once granted an audience with Mr. Biden’s practicing physician.

Further inspection of the White House visitor logs revealed that the specialist, neurologist Dr. Kevin Cannard, had made these visits. Keen to clear any speculations, White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor, made a public statement late Monday, which acknowledged President Biden’s annual visits with Dr. Cannard as a part of his routine health checkups. Seamlessly dismissing all skepticism, he further emphasized that thorough screenings from these checkups did not indicate any trace of Parkinson’s disease in the President.
