Recently Patel confessed to the New Yorker, ‘I didn’t intend to say all that on [Morning Joe.] Had I known, I’d have preferred a different attire, I wasn’t looking very professional.’ She expressed her considerable apprehension, indicating this wasn’t working out and a revamp was necessary. ‘The President needed to make the decision’, Pelosi stated.
Pelosi asserted, mirroring her previous claims during an interview on CBS Sunday Morning on August 4, that she had kept her promise, ‘I never approached anyone about Biden. I stuck to my word. Whatever discussion I was part of, it was going to include only him. I never made any calls,’ she shared with the New Yorker.
Pelosi also acknowledged the calls she received indicating a ‘challenge there.’ She responded by insisting that either there had to be a change in command of the campaign or it had to be decided what would come next.
