New Video Shows Trump Was Right About People Eating Cats in Ohio (VIDEO)

This past week, during a presidential debate, Donald Trump made a surprising claim that foreign newcomers were causing disturbances in Springfield, Ohio, specifically suggesting that domestic pets were disappearing. Springfield, a modest town experiencing an influx of immigrants, primarily from Haiti, has seen socio-cultural tensions rise. The audience’s reaction to Trump’s statement was mixed, and online responses quickly followed. Conservatives turned Trump’s comments into humor, portraying him as a protector of pets, with memes showing him in military gear.

The statement also sparked a viral TikTok trend, where clips of Trump’s speech were set to upbeat dance tunes. However, traditional media outlets did not share in the humor. ABC correspondent David Muir challenged Trump’s narrative, citing an official response from the Springfield city manager, who confirmed there were no verified reports of pets being harmed by immigrants.

Other media outlets reacted more aggressively, accusing Trump of promoting “racist hyperbole” and playing on outdated stereotypes. Despite the backlash, some began to question whether there was any truth to his claims. Further investigation uncovered a lead—not in Springfield, but in Dayton, Ohio, located about 30 minutes away.

In late August 2023, a social media post from Dayton surfaced, showing a video clip of two skinned cats on a blue grill. The post, titled “Yoooo the Africans wildn on Parkwood,” referred to Parkwood Drive in Dayton. The video also showed two live cats in the foreground, with the person recording commenting, “There go a cat right there. His ass better get missin’, man. Looks like his homies on the grill!”

The individual who recorded the video confirmed the details but requested to remain anonymous. He explained that he had been picking up his child when he noticed the unusual scene. According to him, “It was some Africans that stay right next door to my kid’s mother. This African dude had the damn cat on the grill.” After verifying visual details from the video, a visit to the home led to a conversation with an immigrant family from the Democratic Republic of Congo, who now live at the residence. They mentioned that the previous tenants, also from Africa, had left behind a blue grill similar to the one shown in the footage.

While the exact details of the event couldn’t be fully confirmed, the presence of several stray cats around the property and accounts from neighbors suggest that something unusual did take place. One neighbor stated that during the previous summer, the same family was seen grilling cats, leading to the recording of the video.

Though this incident doesn’t completely validate Trump’s claim, it contradicts the media outlets that categorically denied the possibility. The event occurred in Dayton, not Springfield, and involved cats, not dogs, but it raises broader questions about cultural practices unfamiliar or unsettling to many Americans.

In some countries, including parts of Congo and Haiti, certain traditions involve animals that are regarded as pets in the U.S. The fact that such an event occurred in Dayton, a city with a smaller immigrant population, raises the possibility that similar incidents could happen elsewhere, including Springfield, which has a larger influx of immigrants.

Independent journalists have already started investigating further. The Daily Wire has sent a correspondent to Springfield, and The Federalist reported an incident involving a group of Haitians allegedly returning from a city trail with dead geese. Ohio’s attorney general, Dave Yost, supported this report, stating that witnesses could testify credibly in court.

This issue touches on the broader debate surrounding immigration and cultural integration. Each wave of immigrants introduces new customs, some of which may be unsettling to many Americans. For those living in lower-income areas like Dayton or Springfield, these cultural differences can feel particularly disruptive. Media figures, often distant from these communities, are quick to dismiss concerns without fully understanding the realities on the ground.

This story does not suggest that assimilation is impossible, but it calls for a more open and honest discussion. Simply labeling critics as racists or conspiracy theorists stifles the debate about the challenges and costs that come with immigration. In this case, the cost seems to include a troubling incident involving skinned cats on a grill in Dayton, Ohio.

EXCLUSIVE: We have discovered that migrants are, in fact, eating cats in Ohio. We have verified, with multiple witnesses and visual cross-references, that African migrants in Dayton, the next city over from Springfield, barbecued these cats last summer.https://t.co/8QveTJy4Vp pic.twitter.com/PxuJQ7fJc9
