EU Caves: Europe Seeks To Strike Deal With Chinese EV Makers That Avoids Tariffs
the EU is starting to cave on preventing Chinese EV makers from doing business in Europe. Previously, the EU had sought to implement devastating tariffs on Chinese companies for supposedly skewing the European market with more supply and lower prices.
In fact, the European Union is sending officials to Beijing for further talks to explore alternatives to tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, according to a new report from Bloomberg.
Reaching a deal to replace the new tariffs remains complex, with plans still in development but the two sides are examining a “price undertakings” agreement to regulate export prices and volumes as an alternative to tariffs.
Bloomberg writes that after eight rounds of talks, the proposals on the table still fall short of EU standards, including WTO compliance and enforceability requirements.

She detailed FEMA’s increasing focus on equity initiatives, revealing, “We are prioritizing disadvantaged communities when there’s no clear definition of what that is,” Goodman said. According to her, this focus is detracting from FEMA’s core mission to assist all Americans facing urgent needs after disasters.
“When you’re dedicating that time and those resources to things that you can’t tie to fact… you’re not dedicating to the things that matter, which is helping American families stay safe.” Despite potential risks, Goodman explained her motivation for coming forward:
“If you feel a calling from the Lord…you need to speak the truth.” She called on FEMA to refocus on disaster response essentials, stating, “We have the resources. We need to get back to basics and use them to actually help people.”

While the articles about Vice President Kamala Harris were relatively neutral in tone and focused on her innovative digital strategy, her policy proposals, and her chances of winning next week, the articles that the Post paid to highlight about Trump told a different story.
The paper boosted multiple critical articles, including about Trump’s campaign rhetoric, his misstatements, his allies’ attempts to “energize him as he struggles to adapt to Harris,” how his campaign damaged Springfield, Ohio, his fixation on the fictional serial killer Hannibal Lecter, how crowds leave his rallies early, and his questioning of the results of the 2020 election, among other stories.
It’s difficult not to see the Post’s move as anything other than a reaction to the massive subscriber departure following its non-endorsement decision last week.

EXCLUSIVE: House Oversight Republicans Demand Answers From FBI Over Revised Crime Stats
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer sent a letter Thursday to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) calling for answers for reportedly revising its national crime data for 2022 to show that violent crime actually increased instead of the decrease that was initially reported.
Crime in the Nation report from 2023 that showed an estimated 1.7 percent decrease in violent crime in 2022, which was touted as an accomplishment from the Biden-Harris Administration.
“There was, however, no decrease. The FBI failed to include in its initial count ‘an additional 1,699 murders, 7,780 rapes, 33,459 robberies, and 37,091 aggravated assaults,’ resulting in an increase in violent crime of 4.5 percent. This is a staggering a 6.2 percent revision,” Comer wrote.

White House altered Biden ‘garbage’ transcript without stenographer approval
The White House changed the official transcript of President Joe Biden‘s disputed remarks regarding former President Donald Trump’s supporters.
White House press aides made the changes to the transcript, stenographed by career, nonpolitical federal employees, on Tuesday, according to two government officials and an internal email obtained Thursday by the Associated Press.
According to the original transcript, Biden told the Latino advocacy organization Voto Latino during a campaign call, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters — his — his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American.”
But the transcript released by the White House’s press office included an apostrophe, so it read “supporter’s” and not “supporters,” after speaking with Biden but not the head of the stenography office as is protocol.

Douglass Mackey, known as Ricky Vaughn, created and posted a meme in 2016. The meme was an image meant to appear from the Hillary Clinton campaign, encouraging voters to submit their vote for Clinton via text message.
While most people saw this particular meme and thought, “Haha, can you imagine anybody being that stupid,” scolds at the Justice Department tightened up their britches and set about squashing the man.
Mackey was arrested in January of 2021, charged with election interference or, more specifically, “conspiring with others in advance of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election to use various social media platforms to disseminate misinformation designed to deprive individuals of their constitutional right to vote.”

“It Did Occur” – Kentucky County Clerk Confirms Voting Booth ‘Glitch’ Shifted Trump Votes To Kamala

Fraudulent voter registration schemes
Prosecutors in Lancaster County said Friday they had uncovered a large-scale scheme to submit fraudulent voter applications that were collected at shopping malls and other locations. Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adams told a news conference that detectives have found about 60% of some 2,500 voter registrations submitted in recent days to the county’s election office were fraudulent.
Ballot drop boxes set on fire
Ballot drop boxes have been set on fire in at least three occasions in Portland, Ore., and across the state border in Vancouver, Wash., this month. Two fires occurred early Monday morning, the first in Portland, the second in Vancouver, and another occurred in Vancouver a couple of weeks earlier.
Last week, roughly 20 mail-in ballots were damaged after a ballot drop box was set on fire in Phoenix, Ariz. Dieter Klofkorn, 35, told Phoenix police after he was arrested for a separate crime “that he committed the arson because he wanted to be arrested and that his actions were not politically motivated and not related to anything involving the upcoming election.”
Fraudulent ballots
At least a dozen fraudulent mail ballots were sent in and identified in Mesa County, Colorado, last week, three of which were counted and unable to be removed.
The Colorado secretary of state’s office said they learned earlier in the week about the dozen or more ballots that were stolen before the intended voters received them.
Voter suppression
The RNC sent a letter to Pennsylvania’s secretary of the commonwealth on Monday about concerns that election officials were discouraging voters from casting ballots.
“Voters consistently report to us that at Boards of Election Offices across the Commonwealth, they are told that ‘computers are down,’ the site will be closing early, they are not accepting any more voters, and that mail ballots will not be counted,” reads the letter, sent on behalf of the RNC and the Trump campaign.
Trump’s campaign and the RNC won a lawsuit against Bucks County, Pa., on Wednesday to extend early voting by three days.
Ballot harvesting
The South Carolina Republican Party alerted state officials last week of an alleged Democratic ballot harvesting operation in Marion County after finding multiple voters registered at a vacant address. “Ballot harvesting is the practice of permitting any individual to collect and return an unlimited number of mail or absentee ballots without a documented chain of custody or proper state oversight,” according to the United States House of Representatives Committee on House Administration.
The state GOP announced that it had found a paid Democratic staffer and 15 other voters registered at an address that is currently vacant. The party additionally discovered that at least five paid Democratic campaign workers have a different voter registration address than their reported address on a campaign financial disclosure.
Cyberattacks
The Georgia secretary of state’s office earlier this month fended off a cyberattack against its website that allows voters to request absentee ballots. The cyberattack was likely sent from a foreign nation, according to the secretary’s office, Fox News reported.
The office’s cyber team was notified of a dramatic spike in attempts to access the state’s absentee ballot portal on Oct. 14. The portal was slowed but not stopped.
D.C. mail-in ballot sent to Michigan
Hillsdale College Vice President and General Counsel Robert Norton received a mail ballot from Washington, D.C., last week that was addressed to a voter who does not live at his residence.
Label printing problems
Early voting in Wisconsin was delayed last week due to label printing problems, causing voters to wait hours in line to vote in some cases. The labels with voters’ names and addresses are usually printed immediately and must be affixed to the ballot envelopes. However, the labels took at least two minutes to print.
Candidates’ political parties switched on ballots
Minnesota Republican state Rep. Peggy Bennett was incorrectly listed as a Democrat on the ballot in Faribault County during early voting due to a “ballot processing error” that was made by the Minnesota Secretary of State.
It was discovered when early voting began in Minnesota last month. Bennett said the error had already cost her votes.
The Minnesota Secretary of State’s office said the error affected 17 ballots and it was working on fixing the issue. Bennett’s opponent, Joe Staloch, was incorrectly listed as a Republican.
Missing race
Ballots for a precinct in Douglas, Ariz., which is located in Cochise County, were missing a Board of Supervisors’ race last week. A total of 118 active voters were affected, 78 of which had early ballots mailed.
The county said that corrected ballots were to be mailed to affected voters by the end of that week.

In a serious breach of election security, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold’s office left voting system passwords publicly accessible on the state’s website for several months.
Despite discovering the exposure on October 24, Griswold’s team only began to change the leaked passwords after the Colorado GOP brought the issue to light.

The Playbook:
1. De-legitimize the Trump win — must happen quickly and delay any certification
2. Prevent certification via chaos, threats to key congress people, immense media pressure, and massive public protests and street riots (rent-a-mobs + useful idiots), etc. (The mob is crucial. The mob muscle is the most important pressure mechanism.)
3. Move the decision to SCOTUS, and pile on the pressure to void Trump’s win
. 4. Media surround-sound lionizes the mob as freedom fighters, fighting for “democracy” and it’s non-stop. The country is “on fire.”
5. The SCOTUS justices are intimidated, as they were in 2020… install Trump in office and “the whole country will burn down.” Redo the election? Can’t! The country will burn!
6. SCOTUS acquiesces, to “save the country,” and appoints Harris and the Blob maintains control via their color revolution. (Once they’re in power, I would expect the political prisoner count to go through the roof.)
7. Per Benz, the final “arrangement” is a compromise, a split between the guys with guns (often feds vs more local law enforcement). They stand down.
How Do you Stop a Color Revolution?
What is the Achilles heel?
Well, we have examples of it. Several of them in different areas of the world have in fact been intercepted and stopped, but it takes some strong action. There are three key vulnerabilities: They are: Media Control Rent-a-mob generation, and Corporate Extortion Funding a.
Absolute control of the media —
The Blob has to control the narrative. They must portray the plight of “poor demonstrators” as highly moral, a fight for “freedom” against “tyranny.” The rioters are saints, fighting against a clearly “stolen election.” The rioters are the “saviors of democracy.” Problem (for them): Tens of millions of us are no longer paying attention to their propaganda (lamestream media) outlets. If we were, Trump would not be in the lead. X is the #1 foil, but so are all these long form podcasts, citizen journalists on Locals, Rumble, etc.
The counter-narrative is leaking out all over the place. @joeroganhqis almost a force of nature. They MUST control the narrative. Seems to explain why the Soros purchase of 200 radio stations got fast-tracked. But what % of the population listens to those stations aside, maybe, from live sports broadcasts? (I don’t think they have much influence.) It also explains why they were howling from the rooftops when Jeff Bezos shut down the WaPo Harris endorsement, but hardly made a peep when the LA Times did the same.
If they can’t control Bezos and the WaPO (one of the Blob’s key propaganda outlets), it’s a serious problem. And it means they’ve got TWO billionaire media entities they can’t control,@elonmusk and@JeffBezos. It’s a serious problem. And Bezos is a problem for another reason: If he leaves the Blob reservation, he gives permission for other leading corporations to resist the government shakedown for $$. @elonmusk is no longer the Lone Ranger.
He has company. The dam could break. Actually, I think it *is* breaking. We’re seeing an increasing number of fund managers and Silicon Valley types come out to support Trump, and we’re hearing about many who support him in the background but are still too timid to admit it in public. This is a change. My own sense/guess is that this has the Blob seriously worried. I’m smelling fear and desperation. And if the Govt coercion game fails, the Blob has real problems. They lose the extortion money (point “b” below).
(Aside: It’s not truly existential for them. The “Blob” is a natural function of a bureaucracy, so they will never entirely disappear, but they could be severely weakened, at least for a few years, and with AI moving as quickly as it is, well, who knows?) b. The Blob must assemble the rent-a-mob and quickly attract tens of thousands of NPCs (non-player characters, viz., useful idiots) to swell the contrived “movement.”
Rent-a-mobs cost a LOT of money. For example, the money flow to BLM to stage the George F. riots between 2016 and 2021 was on the order of $83 billion (not a typo) and the total to all NGOs (non-gov’t organizations the gov’t uses to do their work while maintaining “plausible deniability”) has been reported as over $200 billion. (@MikeBenzCyber brings the receipts on that). This is BIG business. As it should be. They’re playing for all the marbles. Ergo, this is a point of vulnerability.
They can’t fund a color revolution directly out of congress. That would create an uproar they couldn’t tolerate. So, they shake down the big corporations, behind the scenes. Mike Benz does a nice job of explaining how they do that. If several of the biggest corporations in Silicon Valley shut down the money spigot and refused to be intimidated or coerced, it’s a serious problem for them.
That type of rebellion can spread like “turbo-cancer.” It will embolden others to resist the shakedown. The whole Gov-corp collusion industry falls apart. Hence, the visceral reaction to the Bezos minor rebellion act with WaPo. Perhaps it wasn’t as “minor” as it looks. c. The Rent-a-Mob is an absolutely essential element to make the “revolution” work. Intercept that, and the whole “revolution” is still-born. And it’s not hard to shut it down fast and nip it in the bud.
The participants aren’t “warriors.” They’re largely chickenshits. We saw that in 2016 and again in 2020. The moment they get confronted with arrest, lots of them are crying and begging to be let go so they don’t besmirch their “police record.” So. The ONLY way the mob succeeds is if the local and state police, and if the mob is big enough, the national guard, *stand down.* That’s a problem, but it’s getting harder.
A whole lot of people are fed up with this bull crap. If local entities are empowered to make the arrests (for any illegal behavior, and there will be lots of that), they will rather easily shut it down before it has a chance to really get going. It’s a still-born “revolution.”
