Tether purchased about 103.3 million of Rumble’s Class A common at $7.50, totaling $775 million.
“The investment includes a primary commitment of $250 million in cash, with Tether also supporting Rumble’s tender offer for up to 70 million shares at $7.50 per share, reinforcing the platform’s future growth initiatives,” Tether wrote in a press release, adding, “The total anticipated investment from Tether will be approximately $775 million or 103,333,333 shares of common stock.”

CNN Goes All in to Shame Fathers Out of Buying Hunting Rifles for Sons

Less than a week after a 15-year-old girl shot and killed two at a Madison, Wisconsin, Christian school, CNN went all in to shame fathers out of buying hunting rifles for their sons.

In an attempt to bolster their position, CNN said, “For example, the teenage school shooting suspects in Oxford, Michigan, and Winder, Georgia, allegedly used firearms they had received as Christmas gifts from their parents, and those parents have faced criminal charges.”
CNN did not mention that the gun used in the Oxford incident was a handgun, not a hunting rifle, and the gun used in the Winder incident was a gun the father gave the son while allegedly not monitoring the son’s access to it. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation noted that the charges against the father in the Winder incident “stem from [the father] knowingly allowing his son … to possess a weapon.”
CNN concluded the article by repeating the false claim that guns are the “leading cause of death for US children.” This false statement has been pushed by President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and numerous Hollywood leftists. The claim is based on numbers which include people of voting age — 18- and 19-year-olds — as “children.”

  The “Damming the Iron River” report from Everytown Research mentions that from 2015 to 2022, more than 160,000 people were killed with a gun in Mexico. After President Trump noted there are issues with the Panama Canal management, costs and fees being paid by American transit companies for goods that flow through the canal, the President of Panama José Raúl Mulino hit back strongly.

Trump wants to buy Greenland, again, after claiming US could take back ownership of Panama Canal: ‘Absolute necessity’   

President-elect Donald Trump said he wants the US to own and control Greenland — a desire he made known during his first presidential term — as he announced his pick for US ambassador to Denmark on Sunday.
“For purposes of National Security and Freedom throughout the World, the United States of America feels that the ownership and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity,” Trump said in a statement on Truth Social.
His comments on Greenland came in the same statement Trump used to announce he has selected PayPal co-founder Ken Howery for the ambassadorship to Denmark. 

Leaders in Denmark were not jazzed about the president’s insistence. The island has autonomous self-rule but is still within the Kingdom of Denmark.

Letter Signed by ‘National Security Professionals’ Against Tulsi Gabbard Includes Unfounded Smears

A letter signed by nearly 100 “national security professionals” against Tulsi Gabbard as director of national intelligence contains smears rather than facts, according to a closer review by Breitbart News.
The letter was published earlier this month by Foreign Policy 4 America, a left-of-center, Soros-funded organization founded in response to President-elect Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016, according to InfluenceWatch.org.
The letter, signed by a number of former Obama and Clinton administration officials and partisan retired military officers, claimed that following Gabbard’s trip to Syria in 2017, she “aligned” herself with Russian and Syrian officials.
It said, “She publicly cast doubt on U.S. intelligence reports and overwhelming public reporting that Assad carried out chemical weapons attacks against Syrian civilians, giving credence to the debunked conspiracy that the attack was staged by agents of the United Kingdom.”
Rather, after her trip to Syria, Gabbard did not say she did not believe Assad carried out the attacks. She said it was “irrelevant” what anyone believed, but that she wanted “evidence and facts.”
She said in an April 7, 2017, interview on CNN:
 
The letter cites as an example of her casting doubt on whether Assad carried out the attacks was a statement on her website that did not absolve Assad, but rather, said, “There is evidence that both the Syrian government of Bashar al-Assad as well as the armed opposition groups aligned against him have used chemical weapons (CW) during the Syrian war.”

Matt Gaetz Ethics Report Was Released

The congressional ethics investigators said Matt Gaetz violated state laws. He allegedly paid numerous women — including a 17-year-old girl — for sex. He also allegedly purchased and used illegal drugs, including from his Capitol Hill office, according to a final draft of a comprehensive investigative report obtained by CBS News.

“From 2017 to 2020, Representative Gaetz made tens of thousands of dollars in payments to women that the Committee determined were likely in connection with sexual activity and/or drug use,” noted the report, which lists payments totaling more than $90,000 to 12 different women.
The committee said it also received testimony that at a 2017 party, Gaetz twice had sex with “Victim A,” who was 17 years old at the time and had just completed her junior year in high school.

Gaetz has left Congress, and the release is meant to keep him out of government in perpetuity.
