Moving into JUNE, THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME (June 6) hits the screens. The eccentric Wes Anderson reunites Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks and Jeffrey Wright for another intriguing tale involving a wealthy man, his daughter, and her educator. Later in July, we see a familiar blue hue take over the screen as SMURFS (July 18) make a return. However, this time Papa Smurf is absent and the rest of the Smurf clan must embark on a quest to locate him, with John Goodman breathing life into the venerable character.
Rounding off the month of July is THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS (July 25). Separating itself from past iterations, this new take on the Fantastic Four saga features a refreshed cast with an ever-charming Pedro Pascal leading the quartet as Mr. Fantastic.
