Medical experts are raising serious concerns about how former President Joe Biden’s aggressive and advanced prostate cancer went undetected during his time in office—despite the routine medical exams expected of someone holding the highest office in the nation.
Biden, 82, was recently diagnosed with high-grade, hormone-sensitive prostate cancer that has already spread to his bones. The cancer carries a Gleason score of 9, indicating an aggressive form that likely developed years ago.
The diagnosis has prompted a wave of skepticism from physicians across the country who are baffled at how such a severe case could have been missed during regular screenings. Prostate cancer is typically caught early with standard blood tests, like the Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) test, especially for men in Biden’s age group.
“This is not a cancer that develops overnight,” said Dr. Chris George, medical director of a cancer program in the Midwest. “It’s almost unbelievable this wasn’t caught sooner. With proper monitoring, prostate cancer is usually detected well before it metastasizes to the bones.”
