The first banner was created as a token of affection for Pamela Jackson, his girlfriend, whom he lovingly named P.J. The second banner, however, was a humorous and sharp message for his colleagues, pilots Kent Moeckly and Greg Schmidt.
In Casey’s perspective, it was an entertaining gag, intended to bring humor and lightheartedness. Little did he know that this pivotal day would lead to harsher consequences. Shortly after, the second banner flew by, expressing Ramirez’s love for P.J., adding both humor and confusion to the morning’s proceedings.
Ramirez, making the best of the situation, traced a heart in the sand, symbolizing his love for P.J. Among the men, one distinctly Hispanic looking individual with a playful haircut, Casey Ramirez, was leading the trio.
Ramirez was engaged in a deep conversation with two tall white men, discussing a so-called ‘mission.’ Schmidt later testified in court that this mysterious mission was the primary subject of their discussion. This critical exchange was taking place outside the townhouse because Ramirez was convinced that they were under federal surveillance.
