Biden and Harris: Blind To Dangers of Lax Immigration Policies?

Former President Donald Trump had once unrolled an ambitious plan to amplify the processes of detention and deportation of illegal immigrants primarily residing in populous Democratic bastions, even as a wave of opposition against his stance surged across the nation. This brave initiative, though pounced upon by critics, was a necessity in the face of the rampant illegal immigration overwhelming these democratic cities.

Trump announced a dynamic expansion of the deportation program, propelling ICE personnel to channelize their full strength into accomplishing ‘the single largest Mass Deportation Program in History.’ The genesis of this decision was rooted in a turbulent landscape marked with protests aimed at the enforcement of ICE raids in cities like Los Angeles and expanding across the nation.

Trump tightly held the reigns of his administration, fostering a sense of duty in his teams by scorning sanctuary cities and encouraging a crackdown on illegal inhabitants settling in major American cities. His focus was razor-sharp, targeting metropolises teeming with unauthorized immigrants, like Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.

According to him, democratic strongholds, such as these cities, utilized illegal foreigners to accentuate their voter bases, manipulate electoral outcomes, and proliferate the Welfare State. He stressed the enforcement governance over unlawful citizens in our treacherous inner cities, where sanctuary cities maintain a predominant influence.

Leaving no room for ambiguity, he urged his law enforcement personnel, ‘Now go, GET THE JOB DONE!’ Indeed, a call-to-action that exemplified Trump’s get-tough and take-charge approach, despite the backlash he braved from innumerable quarters.

In one of his announcements, he promised anticipatory policy revisions to safeguard agricultural laborers, hospitality industry workers, and other sectors impacted by the brunt of large-scale deportations. ‘Our farmers are being hurt badly,’ Trump admitted, addressing the unfortunate repercussion of his necessary actions, alluding to the importance of retaining veteran workers.

Boosting the forces of deportation was a direct response to the White House’s demand for an intensive apprehension of illegal settlers trespassing American soil. The quotas for daily arrests saw a triple-fold increase from 1,000 to a hefty 3,000, exemplifying the aggressive stance of Trump.

Yet, the number of deportations under Trump’s administration fell short of the figures recorded during Joe Biden’s similar term capacity. However, the discrepancy was diplomatically attributed by the White House to the decreasing number of immigrants attempting to breach the border, a relief brought on by Trump’s hardline immigration policy, unlike the lenient Biden era.

The flux of migrants making perilous journeys to cross the U.S.-Mexico border had significantly plummeted during Trump’s nascent months of his second term. One year ago, Border Patrol agents would encounter more than 100,000 attempted entries, but Trump’s stringent measures have brought a substantial change.

Now, these figures barely touch 10,000 per month, marking a compelling difference that could only be accomplished by a firm, no-nonsense leader who put his nation’s safety first. But for some, this evolution doesn’t matter, just the perception of the leader.

The real losers of this, sadly, were the American people who are now burdened with an administration that not only has a more relaxed stance towards immigration, but also seems to take an almost lenient view towards illegal immigration.

Interestingly, under the Biden administration, there appears to be an almost universal acceptance of illegal immigrants. In fact, one might argue that there seems to be a certain almost indulgent attitude, almost as if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris would like to offer every illegal immigrant a ‘free pass’ without any checks or balances whatsoever.

This doesn’t just hurt us economically, it poses a significant risk to national security. Yet, the Biden administration seems to turn a blind eye to this fact and continue on this dangerous path they’ve set for themselves and the nation.
