The civil unrest that has unfolded in Los Angeles recently has left me shocked. The unambiguous circumstances surrounding these events stem from a promise made by President Trump to safeguard America against threats associated with illegal immigration, infiltrating both our northern and southern borders. These perilous threats comprise not only of unlawful human movement but also include substantial drug trafficking, notably of fentanyl, human smuggling, and potential terrorist infiltrations. In response to this illicit invasion, President Trump announced a national emergency, took measures like military deployment at the borders, reactivated the robust Remain-in-Mexico regulation, absolutely abandoned the ‘catch-and-release’ procedure, kickstarted the proto construction of the border walls, identified illicit drug cartels as ‘foreign terrorist organizations’, and terminated the provision of birthright citizenship.
The ensuing reactive riots in Los Angeles are an aftermath of these directives. Most notably, the arrests made by agents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the region were primarily of criminal illegal immigrants. In an unexpected counter-reaction, the Trump administration’s steps have been critically questioned by left-wing leaders, the current governor of California, and LA’s mayor. They have astonishingly laid the blame for the riots at President Trump’s doorstep. National Democrats appear to have disregarded the significant lesson on illegal immigration and crime, a matter they were clearly defeated on in the previous November elections.
The violence unravelling on the streets of LA is nothing less than the manifestation of unruly mob activity. It is crucial to acknowledge the fundamental authority of the Trump administration to apprehend illegal immigrants. However, in an unforeseen allegation, the governor and mayor have accused ICE agents of unjustly ‘targeting’ illegal immigrants involved in serious crimes like murder, rape, and pedophilia. But isn’t the capturing of criminals a fundamentally integral part of law enforcement?
A seemingly blind opposition to President Trump has led these leaders to favor criminals in their states and cities, as well as condone the rioters, looters, and violent individuals, abandoning the law enforcement agencies struggling to maintain order. They firmly argue that for riots to cease and tranquility to return, there needs to be a halt in the operations of ICE and immigration raids. This thought process appears preposterous. Can Democrats truly believe that the majority of the American populace would repudiate President Trump’s restorative efforts and instead ally themselves with rowdy radicals committing arson, looting establishments, and assaulting law enforcement officers and ICE agents?
National media, heavily partisan towards the Democrats, and the National Democrat Party, are propagating a narrative that the federal government lacks the authority to enforce its laws, arrest and deport illicit immigrant criminals. It appears that they’re attempting to leverage the violent crowd against the very citizens they represent to inhibit the execution of immigration law. It’s disheartening to witness such a gross violation of American values and moral integrity.
The quandary unfolding in LA is intense. However, an equally pressing subject prompting a lot of attention is the source of financial support for this tumult. President Trump, as intrigued as many, has raised the question regarding the source of funding for these well-prepared demonstrators and has initiated an investigation to uncover the truth. According to the President, those stirring up this chaos are professional paid disruptors, criminals at best, and they belong in jail.
Consequently, authorities are prioritizing efforts to identify, locate, and imprison those who are orchestrating, sponsoring, financing, or facilitating these disruptive riots. The unrest seems to be meticulously planned and amply funded, creating a burning need to verify the identities of those involved and clarify the source of this organisation. This has grown significantly more imperative as the protests continue to expand, reaching additional cities across America and triggering numerous arrests as demonstrators clash with law enforcement officials.
The observations made during the riots in 2020 are still relevant. Majority of Americans advocate the freedom of speech and expression, even when it is impassioned, improper, or acidic. However, the moment a fire is ignited or a Molotov cocktail or stone is thrown, it deviates from the narrative of freedom of speech to a criminal offense. This is the reality we are witnessing today. We must bring a halt to this violence, arrest and deport criminal immigrants, and identify and prosecute those running and funding these unruly activities.
It is reassuring that President Trump perceives and acknowledges this threat to our nation and possesses enough fortitude to confront it. He rightly stated that countless military heroes did not sacrifice their lives on foreign lands only to witness the degradation of our country by illicit invasion and urban disorder, with demonstrators flaunting foreign flags, echoing the current scenario in California. As the official in the highest position of military authority, he affirmed he would not let that transpire.
