Biden’s Open Borders Policy Invites Trouble: Innocent Tortilla Seller Arrested

Videos abound on social media platforms, featuring a distinctive yellow delivery truck, its back open to reveal orderly piles of tortillas and fresh produce on the ground. This peaceful scene is abruptly disturbed as Francisco Urizar’s vehicle is surrounded by a U.S. Border Patrol truck, painted with green stripes, and a nondescript white van. Out from the van flow agents clad in militaristic attire, who hustle the 64-year-old into their vehicle before the van departs the scene.

Since this episode, Nancy Urizar, 30, has grimly observed the event repeated through various videos circulated among internet users. Fast-forward to her standing at the Food 4 Less where the unexpected incident occurred. It’s there she learns that a friend of her father’s, a grocery store associate who has an unedited video clip of the incident involving the immigration officers and her parent.

The arrival of this new footage stirs hope within Nancy, offering the potential to provide a deeper understanding of the arrest’s motivation. Could her humble, hard-working father have been mistaken for an illegal immigrant? She expresses her desperate search for answers through her tears.

Sadly, upon seeing the video, Nancy’s hope withers. The camera was setup a distance apart, and an unfortunate tree obscures most of the scene. However, the video elucidates the episode’s timeline, revealing that the agents spent over three minutes communicating with her father before he was removed. This contradicting information stirs more confusion, shredding the initial belief that he was taken into the van instantly.

Having viewed the incident through a new lens, Nancy is now left with even more critical queries. ‘Was it a premeditated operation, or simply a matter of chance?’ She now ponders on what specifically drew the agents towards her father.

Meanwhile, requests to the Department of Homeland Security regarding Francisco Urizar’s arrest and whether a warrant had been issued due to his illegal presence or other reasons, were met with silence.

On the same, fateful day that Francisco was confronted by ICE, numerous other enforcement activities pervaded Eastern Los Angeles County, inciting protests among onlookers. Post mid-June, there has been a noticeable amplification in immigration enforcement administered by the Department of Homeland Security in L.A.

Vice President Vance, however, didn’t seem to see any aggression in the operations. During his visit to Los Angeles on Friday, he boldly stated to reporters, ‘I don’t believe our tactics have been excessively harsh in any way.’

In a curious turn, Vance went on to place the blame squarely on President Joe Biden, indicting him for allowing between ’15 to 20 million illegal aliens’ into the country. Interestingly, the Vice President offered no evidence to back his inflated numbers, nor did he hesitate to emphasize the ‘absolutely necessary’ escalated law enforcement to rectify Biden’s so-called errors.

Nancy defended her father’s honor, stating that he had become a U.S. resident well before Biden’s presidential term. Her father’s anticipatory immigration was fueled by his desperate need to escape conscription by guerilla fighters during Guatemala’s civil war, leaving his family behind under extreme circumstances.

Although his initial attempt involved filing for asylum, the substantial lawyers’ fees led him to abandon the process after his work permit expired. Nancy was unaware of many of these details until recently, having never discussed his asylum history during their childhood.

Upon his disappearance, Nancy combed through his home relentlessly in search of any paperwork that might contain his A-number. This unique identifier, which the U.S. government uses to track immigrants, should have assisted Nancy in locating her father in the ICE Online Detainee Locator System. However, even after 48 hours post-arrest, his name yielded no results.

While the time continued to lapse with no information about her father’s whereabouts, Nancy’s distress grew. She poignantly said about the harrowing experience, ‘All this time is ticking away, but what’s happening to him during this time?’

As she found herself looking out on the parking lot where her father’s truck would usually be at this hour, his supermarket companions keep approaching her, offering comforting hugs and asking for updates. ‘I wish I could provide an answer,’ she sighed, painfully articulating the anguish only those who have experienced a similar ordeal could comprehend.
