This visit occurred concurrently as the Governor continued to navigate the turbulent waters of legal conflicts and political instability following a federal raid. This federal action resulted in the detention of over 200 undocumented immigrants at a cannabis farm.
The situation in the state continued to heat up after a controversial directive was issued. The directive intended to permit federal officers to apprehend anti-ICE protestors present at the raid location. However, this order was promptly overturned by a judicious intervention, with the presiding judge ruling such arrests as ‘unconstitutional’. Gov.
