A statement purported to be made by Robert F. Kennedy Jr is swirling around the internet. It is believed that he said, ‘I was a passenger on Jeffrey Epstein’s personal aircraft twice.’ Upon further investigation, this remark is indeed properly traced back to Kennedy.
In specific terms, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. accepted that he was on Epstein’s private plane once in the year 1993 and a second time between one to two years after that. He mentioned these voyages were taken ‘prior to the emergence of Jeffrey Epstein’s notoriety’ concerning sex offenses involving underage girls. To add context, he highlighted that his family accompanied him during these journeys.
Claims that the U.S. Health Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., admitted using the private aircraft of financier and convicted sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein, have gained traction online. These allegations, dating as far back as the later years of Epstein’s life, resurfaced forcefully in July 2025.
The reappearance of these allegations coincided with the release of a memo by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) on July 7, 2025. The memo declared a lack of a condemnable ‘client list’ or substantial proof that Epstein had forced influential figures into submission. The DOJ’s analysis concluded no further revelations were ‘justified or required’ regarding its examination of Epstein.
To clarify, during an interview with Watters in December 2023, Kennedy substantiated the allegation, confirming he ‘took two flights on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet,’ initially in 1993 and later that decade, prior to Epstein gaining infamy for sexually exploiting girls. Therefore, the contentious statement is indeed Kennedy’s.
On multiple instances, Kennedy has referred to these flights, emphasizing that the second trip occurred ‘one or two years’ post the inaugural flight in 1993. He stated that on both occasions, he was accompanied by his family members.
There have been no suggestions or concrete proof linking Kennedy to Epstein’s illegal sex-related activities involving children. Epstein entered a guilty plea to charges of soliciting prostitution from an underage girl in 2008. He found himself under arrest again in 2019 on accusations of federal-level sex trafficking, but took his own life in prison that same year while waiting for his trial.
For a long time, Epstein’s transgressions have encouraged hunches and conspiracy theories concerning prominent personalities supposedly in his social and business networks. Notably, conjectures revolve around who might have been passengers on his private planes or visited his island residences.
The origin of Kennedy’s statement, ‘I was on Jeffrey Epstein’s plane twice,’ traces back to an interview on ‘Jesse Watters Primetime.’ At the time of this interview, Kennedy had thrown his hat into the ring for the U.S. presidential race. Fox News broadcasted this interview on the night of December 5, 2023.
To elaborate on Kennedy’s words from the interview, he admitted to boarding Epstein’s aircraft twice, and emphasized that these incidents happened ‘three decades back’ — years before Epstein’s legal troubles began occurring in 2006. Kennedy further clarified that his family was with him during these flights and he ‘never traveled on Epstein’s jet unaccompanied.’
The aforementioned statement about Epstein’s plane isn’t the only Kennedy remark that has been under scrutiny. There have been other controversial statements by him that we have decided to investigate.
One such claim includes Kennedy allegedly suggesting that the COVID-19 virus was a ‘purposely engineered bio-weapon aimed at Black and white populations but excluding Ashkenazi Jews and the Chinese.’ The veracity of this claim has been under our close review.
In addition to that, we have been examining another fascinating but contentious claim by Kennedy. This concerns the notion that immunizations were the root cause of the devastating 1918-1919 influenza outbreak, commonly known as the Spanish Flu.
