On August 10, Hollywood posted on Instagram concerning an assault his brother Lee experienced. The incident details were provided by the Wirral Police Department, a part of his Instagram post. Their statement read, ‘We seek the public’s help after a male in his 50s was subjected to an assault in Leasowe, previous night, August 8.’ They appealed to anyone who may have been a witness to the incident or was in the vicinity when it occurred.
According to the police statement, Lee was in the middle of his regular routine, walking his dog on the Links View Playing Fields, nearby Shackleton Road, when the incident happened. It was around 7.10pm, and his dog and another dog began a barking match. The situation escalated when an unknown male, who was walking the other dog, lost his temper.
In the heat of the moment, the unknown male separated the dogs. However, instead of diffusing the situation, further trouble ensued. The unknown male then approached Lee from behind, delivering a surprising punch that resulted in him falling to the ground. The altercation didn’t end there, with Lee receiving a kick to the face and back
After the assault, the assailant hastily fled the scene. Left with facial and back injuries, Lee found himself victim to an unforeseen and sudden act of aggression. The unknown male left without a trace, with the whereabouts and motive of the attacker currently unknown.
After the harrowing incident, Lee was immediately taken to the hospital to receive necessary treatment. His condition, while not specified beyond ‘injuries to his back and face’, was clearly serious enough to warrant immediate medical attention. The Wirral Police Department’s post, unfortunately, fell short of providing more specific information.
