Bill Clinton Letter Surfaces in Epstein’s ‘Birthday Book’ as House Oversight Releases Trove of Files

The House Oversight Committee dropped a bombshell Monday night, releasing a previously unseen cache of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein — including a disturbing “birthday book” filled with personal notes, photos, and handwritten tributes from Epstein’s inner circle. Among them: a message allegedly from former President Bill Clinton.

The sudden document dump follows a congressional subpoena served to Epstein’s estate and comes amid renewed scrutiny of powerful figures who maintained ties with the late convicted sex offender.

Clinton, Dershowitz, and Trump Appear in Epstein’s “Birthday Book”

The most talked-about file is the infamous “birthday book,” reportedly assembled by Ghislaine Maxwell for Epstein’s 50th birthday. The scrapbook includes hundreds of personal photos, lewd jokes, and letters — some purportedly written by public figures.

One entry, attributed to Bill Clinton, praises Epstein for his “childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference, and the [illegible] of friends.” Though the handwriting is unclear, the inclusion of Clinton’s name has reignited interest in his long-documented association with Epstein, including multiple flights on Epstein’s private jet.

Another entry appears under Alan Dershowitz’s name. The message, possibly satirical, claims credit for redirecting a media exposé away from Epstein and toward Clinton:

“Dear Jeffrey, as a birthday gift to you, I managed to obtain an early version of the Vanity Unfair article. I talked them into changing the focus from you to Bill Clinton.”

A photo shows Epstein holding a fake $22,500 check, allegedly from Donald Trump, with a joke implying an early business deal involving “people skills” and women. The Trump team has vigorously denied the authenticity of the entry.

“As I have said all along, it’s very clear President Trump did not draw this picture, and he did not sign it,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. Speaker Mike Johnson echoed that sentiment, saying, “I’m told that it’s fake.”

Epstein’s Mother’s Letter and Disturbing Photos

The book also features a letter from Epstein’s mother, Pauline Stolofsky Epstein, who reminisced over his childhood and early accolades, even referencing a Cosmopolitan magazine feature that dubbed him “Bachelor of the Month.”

“Jeff, I’m so sorry that Dad can’t share the nachus we have regarding your achievements,” she wrote, using a Yiddish term for joy.

But the tone quickly shifts throughout the rest of the scrapbook. It includes shirtless photos of Epstein, women in bikinis, censored nudity involving Maxwell, and sexually suggestive imagery involving mating animals. One caption mocks Epstein’s connection to U.S. intelligence, reading, “We think he works for the CIA.”

House Republicans Slam Democrats for ‘Cherry-Picking’

House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) blasted Democrats for previously highlighting only the references to Trump, claiming they ignored other revelations that paint a broader and more disturbing picture.

“It’s appalling Democrats on the Oversight Committee are cherry-picking documents and politicizing information received from the Epstein Estate today,” Comer said. “President Trump is not accused of any wrongdoing, and Democrats are ignoring the new information.”

Comer pledged to pursue Epstein’s bank records and continue the committee’s investigation. He also emphasized that neither Trump nor Clinton has been formally accused of criminal conduct in connection to Epstein.

Loretta Lynch Deposition Postponed

The document release came just one day before former Attorney General Loretta Lynch was set to testify before the Oversight Committee in a closed-door session. That deposition has now been postponed as Lynch’s legal team negotiates terms with House Republicans.

What Else Was in the Tranche?

In addition to the birthday book, the Oversight Committee released:

Epstein’s will and testament

A redacted version of his address book

Information about his 2007-2008 non-prosecution agreement with the Southern District of Florida

As questions swirl about the true extent of Epstein’s connections, the latest files provide a deeper, more disturbing glimpse into his personal network — and the power players who circled his orbit.
