Turning Point USA to Launch ‘All American’ Halftime Show to Rival NFL’s Bad Bunny Performance at Super Bowl LX

Turning Point USA announced it will debut its own alternative halftime show during Super Bowl LX, directly challenging the NFL’s choice of Latin pop star Bad Bunny for the main stage.

The conservative organization, co-founded by the late Charlie Kirk, revealed plans for “The All American Halftime Show” to run concurrently with the league’s official performance on February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. While the NFL has tapped Bad Bunny, a three-time Grammy Award winner, for the coveted halftime slot, Turning Point USA says it aims to offer a patriotic counter-programming option for viewers turned off by the league’s selection.

“It’s true, Turning Point USA is thrilled to announce The All American Halftime Show,” the group wrote in a post to X. “Performers and event details coming soon.”

The move comes amid growing backlash from some fans over the NFL’s continued push into pop culture politics and globalist entertainment. Bad Bunny — born Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio — has faced criticism over past remarks about ICE and immigration enforcement, including his claim that he avoided booking U.S. concerts out of fear fans would be targeted by federal agents.

“There was the issue of – like, f—king ICE could be outside [my concert],” the artist told i-D earlier this year. He also posted videos on social media purporting to show ICE activity in his native Puerto Rico, referring to immigration agents as “sons of bitches” and accusing them of harassing people in working-class neighborhoods.

Turning Point USA has not yet announced which artists will perform in its alternative halftime show, but sources close to the organization say the lineup will reflect values more in line with “faith, family, and freedom.”

While the NFL’s choice of Bad Bunny highlights its continued embrace of progressive and international stars, TPUSA’s counter-programming marks a bold step by conservative media to create parallel entertainment events — much like its Real America Fest concerts, student summits, and cultural conferences.

The 2026 Super Bowl is expected to draw over 100 million viewers. Whether TPUSA can siphon off a significant portion of that audience remains to be seen, but the message is clear: the culture war has officially reached halftime.
