Afghan National Freed Under Biden Program Arrested After TikTok Bomb Threat in Fort Worth

An Afghan national admitted into the United States under Joe Biden’s “Operation Allies Welcome” has been arrested for allegedly posting a bomb threat targeting Fort Worth, Texas, on TikTok.

The suspect, identified as Mohammad Dawood Alokozay, was taken into custody by the Texas Department of Public Safety and the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force. According to Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, Alokozay uploaded a video in which he appeared to be constructing a bomb while referencing an attack in the Fort Worth area.

Alokozay was booked into Tarrant County Jail on November 25, just one day before another Afghan refugee—admitted through the same Biden-era program—carried out a deadly ambush on two National Guardsmen in Washington, D.C.

“This heinous assault was an act of evil, and an act of hatred, and an act of terror,” President Trump said in a Thanksgiving address, responding to the D.C. shooting. “It was an act against our entire nation; it was a crime against humanity.”

Trump, who has repeatedly warned about the national security implications of mass resettlement policies, called for sweeping immigration reform following the incidents. In a Truth Social post, the president pledged to:

Permanently halt migration from all Third World countries

End all federal benefits and subsidies to noncitizens

Denaturalize any migrant who undermines public safety or domestic tranquility

Deport any foreign national who is a public charge or a security risk

Trump tied the growing unrest to what he calls “unauthorized and illegal Autopen approvals” used under Biden’s administration to fast-track thousands of entries.

“We must now reexamine every single alien who has entered our country from Afghanistan under Biden,” Trump said, “and we must take all necessary action to remove any alien from any country who does not belong here or add benefit to our country.”

The arrest of Alokozay further amplifies concerns around Biden’s rushed resettlement of over 80,000 Afghan nationals, many of whom were admitted with little or no vetting after the botched U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021. Homeland Security officials have already acknowledged gaps in vetting, and recent attacks have triggered a fresh wave of scrutiny.

Alokozay’s alleged threat now adds to the growing list of national security concerns directly tied to the Biden administration’s immigration failures—providing fresh fuel for Trump’s 2025 push to overhaul U.S. entry policies and remove high-risk individuals from the country.
