ICE Agent Who Shot Renee Good in Hiding Amid Threats, White House Confirms

The ICE agent at the center of the controversial shooting in Minneapolis is now in hiding after facing a wave of threats and intimidation. According to White House border czar Tom Homan, agent Jonathan Ross has received credible death threats since the incident and has taken steps to protect himself and his family.

Ross fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Good last week after she blocked a road and refused repeated commands to exit her vehicle. Video footage shows Good bumping Ross with her car before he opened fire. Despite the facts, left-wing agitators and politicians have turned the situation into a rallying cry against ICE and President Trump’s immigration enforcement policies.

“He’s going to wait for the investigation to play itself out,” Homan told Fox’s “Will Cain Country.” “But I know for a fact, now he has to be in hiding.” Homan confirmed that the agent has received threats serious enough to warrant disappearing from public view.

“There are wanted posters with his picture and license plate number,” Homan said. “This man did his job and now his entire family is being targeted.”

Neighbors reportedly saw people packing up Ross’ home, and some have spoken to reporters about temporarily leaving the area due to security concerns. The situation has escalated into a full-blown political firestorm, with far-left politicians stoking the flames.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz — who dropped out of his reelection bid earlier this month amid corruption scandals — called the shooting a sign of “civil war.” This is the same governor who once compared ICE agents to Nazi stormtroopers.

Renee Good was no innocent bystander. She was a known anti-ICE activist tied to a radical group called ICE Watch. On the day of her death, she intentionally used her car to block immigration agents and provoke a confrontation. Ross and his team were acting within the scope of their duties, and the Biden-era culture of demonizing law enforcement has only encouraged more dangerous encounters like this.

Protests in the wake of Good’s death have turned violent and openly threatening. Demonstrators in New York were caught on camera chanting “Save a life, kill an ICE,” and calling for the hanging of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.

Despite the chaos, the Trump administration continues to back Ross and defend the rule of law. As Homan put it, “He followed protocol. He did his job. Now he’s the one running for his life — and that tells you everything you need to know about where we are as a country.”
