Patriots Coach Mike Vrabel and NFL Insider Dianna Russini Spotted Together at Luxury Arizona Resort

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and top NFL reporter Dianna Russini were seen together at a high-end Arizona resort, according to photos and eyewitness accounts that have sparked attention across the sports world.

Images obtained by Page Six appear to show Vrabel and Russini holding hands and embracing during a visit to the Ambiente resort in Sedona, a luxury property known for its scenic views of the Red Rock landscape. The two were reportedly at the hotel over a weekend in late March.

Witnesses say the pair shared breakfast on a patio before spending time together near the pool and in a hot tub. Later that evening, they were seen on a private rooftop area attached to one of the resort’s upscale bungalows, which are designed for couples and offer panoramic desert views.

Photos from the outing show the two hugging at sunset and standing close together, at times appearing to interlock hands. One onlooker also claimed they briefly danced together during the evening.

Both Vrabel and Russini, who are each married, have pushed back on any speculation about the nature of the interaction. They maintain that they were part of a larger group of friends, though those individuals were not visible in the published photos. Sources close to each of them echoed that explanation, saying the gathering included multiple people throughout the day.

However, several other eyewitnesses told Page Six they did not observe anyone else with the pair during key moments of the outing. Photographs taken at different times throughout the day also appear to show only the two of them together.

The timing of the trip aligns with NFL-related travel. Vrabel had attended a scouting event at Arizona State University before heading to Sedona, while Russini was in Arizona covering league meetings in Phoenix, where she later reported on developments for The Athletic.

Russini has built a reputation as one of the most prominent insiders in football media, previously working at ESPN before joining The Athletic, which operates under The New York Times Company. She regularly covers league news, including teams like the Patriots.

Vrabel, a former linebacker who won multiple Super Bowls during his playing career in New England, became the Patriots’ head coach in 2025 and quickly made an impact, guiding the team to a Super Bowl appearance in his first season.

The two have known each other professionally for years. Russini covered the Tennessee Titans during her time at ESPN, overlapping with Vrabel’s tenure as the team’s head coach beginning in 2018.

Both individuals issued statements dismissing any wrongdoing. Vrabel described the interaction as “completely innocent,” while Russini emphasized that NFL reporters often meet with sources outside traditional settings. An editor from The Athletic also defended Russini, calling the photos misleading and lacking context.
