Maryanne Trump Barry, an 86-year-old former federal judge and the elder sister of the late US President Donald Trump, passed away. According to reports, her body was discovered in her New York City residence early on Monday morning, as reported by the New York Times.
Since learning of Maryanne Trump Barry’s passing on Monday, November 13, the Trump family has been in sorrow. Donald Trump Jr. confirmed her passing, according to the New York Post, outside of a Manhattan courtroom where he had been seen attending a case in which he is currently testifying.
“Obviously, it’s a little bit of a rough day but I still have got to deal with this stuff so you gotta keep doing it, that’s the nature of all of this,” he told reporters. “But no it’s been a rough day for myself and my family and for her grandson,” Trump Jr. was quoted as saying.
According to ABC News, there don’t seem to be any indications of foul play, and their sources claim that emergency personnel attended to a call of a person experiencing cardiac arrest. We have not received a response from Donald Trump, the former US president, or his spokesperson.
According to the article, the recent passing of Maryanne Trump Barry marks the demise of three out of four siblings of Donald Trump. The demise of Robert Trump, the youngest brother, reportedly occurred in August 2020 at the age of 71. Conversely, Fred Trump Jr., his sibling, passed away in September 1981 due to a heart attack, at the relatively young age of 42.
