As we survey the damage of four years under the reign of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, it’s startling to see that nearly a tenth of the entire U.S. populace now consists of individuals who have crossed over our borders illegally. Boldly, these individuals are raising their voices, demanding the obliteration of immigration laws which would validate Biden/Harris’s policy of unlimited access to our country and unwarranted citizenship for any individual who manages to set foot on American soil. It’s alarming to think that this is the United States we are talking about, not some free-for-all as we might see in Mexico.
The Democratic party, instead of stepping in to enforce law and order, cheerleads for illegal immigration. Governor Gavin Newsom has even gone as far as to label former President Trump a dictator for simply enforcing federally sanctioned laws and preserving the integrity of our Federal Buildings. As chaos unscrolls in the streets of Los Angeles, one has to question what type of individuals have the luxury of time to obstruct highways.
Committing a felony cannot be taken lightly. It invites serious consequences such as imprisonment, fines, and suspension of driver licenses. Yet, we have individuals who are in the country violating these laws with impunity. These illegal settlers, who are not even legal residents, audaciously exploit our welfare system which includes Medicaid, EBT, SNAP, and evade taxes that support our local school districts.
Yet, the liberal media turns a blind eye to these wrongdoings. There was an era where news outlets took responsibility for published errors, issuing retractions and corrections. Case in point – the handling of COVID vaccines. A pall of dismissal and contempt was cast on promising drugs such as Ivermectin, which potentially could have saved countless lives.
Instead, what did we witness? Pharmaceutical giants took a whole year following the COVID outbreak to produce concoctions that proved to be ineffectual and riddled with adverse side effects. Rightfully, one would expect retractions for such inaccuracies from these audiences. But we got neither retractions nor apologies—nothing.
Then there’s the rosy picture painted of the economy under Biden/Harris. Recall the sharp decline in diesel fuel prices during Trump’s tenure and a noticeable decrease in everyday expenses shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, those gains have been eclipsed by the inertia of the current administration. If you fail to see this, it’s a question of objectiveness.
Barely a few months after suffering a monumental loss against Donald Trump in a historic election, Kamala Harris has defaulted to her original tendencies. Defending anarchists and promoting riots while opposing the enforcement of law and order have become the norm for her. Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom downplayed the riots happening in Los Angeles against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), lamely attributing them to the unruly excitement of sports fans celebrating victory.
Further highlighting the hypocrisy, Vietnam sanctioned a whopping $1.5 billion proposal by the Trump Organization and its Vietnamese partners to establish golf courses, residential properties, and hotels. Amidst such a massive economic exchange, Vietnam was concurrently engaged in talks with the Trump administration to sidestep a formidable 46% tariff due to kickstart in July.
As these events unfolded, those who had before clamored about the uproar regarding Hunter Biden were notably silent. The irony of them being comfortable with such an obvious misstep on the part of the Democrats and choosing to remain tight-lipped about it, is laudable. Nonchalantly, they forget to substantiate their arguments with concrete evidence.
As California continues its descent into chaos, the question shouldn’t be: ‘What unlawful move will the president make next?’ Instead, it should be: ‘What action will the American people take to rectify it?’ We have been explicitly informed about the authoritarian regime’s blueprint. Our curiosity should lean toward the resilience and fortitude of the American public in facing these glaring imperfections.
Amid this chaos, self-proclaimed moderates suggest that if Republicans abolish taxes on overtime pay, ‘businesses will halt time and a half.’ This is an absurd premise, considering that the Fair Labor Standards Act has, for 90 years, obligated businesses to pay their workers for overtime.
