New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed a $75 billion climate change bill that will fine fossil fuel companies for the damage caused to the environment.
“With nearly every record rainfall, heatwave, and coastal storm, New Yorkers are increasingly burdened with billions of dollars in health, safety, and environmental consequences due to polluters that have historically harmed our environment,” Governor Hochul said. “Establishing the Climate Superfund is the latest example of my administration taking action to hold polluters responsible for the damage done to our environment and requiring major investments in infrastructure and other projects critical to protecting our communities and economy.”

Trump Effect: Mexico to Open Shelters for Deported Migrants by January 20: Report

The government of Mexico is planning to open twenty-five shelters for Mexican citizens deported by the incoming Trump administration. The shelters will be opened by Trump’s inauguration on January 20, according to comments by Baja California Gov. Marina del Pilar at a press conference Monday reported by Border Report.
The temporary shelters will hold about 500 each, totally 12,000. Some will house single men, others will house unaccompanied children, women and family units.

Urgent recall for pet food contaminated with bird flu issued after cat dies

An urgent recall has been issued for pet food after a cat died from eating the product, which was later revealed to be contaminated with bird flu.
Northwest Naturals, based out of Portland, Oregon, is voluntarily recalling bags of its ‘Turkey Recipe’ raw frozen pet food after it tested positive for the bird flu virus.
The product that tested positive was the company’s 98 percent turkey, organs and bones bagged froze raw food.
It was sold across the US through distributors in Washington, Arizona, Rhode Island, Georgia, Maryland and several other states.
The products were also distributed in Canada‘s British Columbia.
It is unclear when the cat which died ate the food, but lab tests revealed there was a ‘genetic match between the virus in the raw and frozen pet food and the infected cat’.

Dogs and cats infected with bird flu could display a mix of symptoms including a fever, a lack of energy, a loss of appetite, stomach issues and seizures.

While a lot of people are outraged by this article, I would like to offer a different perspective. Does anybody really think that Congress is going to try to stop Trump from taking office? After they so quickly caved on the CR fight?
Does anybody really think ANYBODY in Congress can CONVINCE the American people or a majority of Congress to go along with this? Is this a last desperate attempt to stop what’s coming? Nothing can stop what’s coming! There is nothing that is going to stop Trump from being inaugurated. The enemy knows that too.
Besides a few outspoken and panicked members of Congress like Raskin; Where are the other members of Congress who are calling for the PREVENTION of Trump’s inauguration? Crickets. There is literally no groundswell in Congress for this movement. Everyone is preparing for Trump’s first hundred days that they all know will be transformative for many generations. I’m not even seeing the type of resistance that I expected after Trump was elected. Congress could only stand up to Trump “if” they had a decent portion of the American people behind them and the media still controlled the narrative. They have neither.
Elon purchasing X, not only destroyed any control that the MSM had over the narrative war by creating a competing narrative. But Elon’s X, also allowed the MAJORITY OPINION of the American people to no longer be censored and to make their voices heard. This has ALWAYS been the enemy’s greatest fear. An awakened populace was something that Congress has never feared until now.
Why do they FEAR the American people’s voice so much now? With the incoming Trump administration and the end of the two tier justice system; Many of them now live in fear of the justice phase that’s at the doorstep.
A justice phase that is SUPPORTED by the American people is their greatest fear and the “smart” members of Congress are hoping to survive what’s coming, not add treason to their crimes. I guarantee you this: This narrative by The Hill, is not helping the enemy in any way. It is doing even more damage to the leftwing media and the resistance within our corrupt government. I bet Trump wishes they would actually try this strategy. So do I.
