Musk continued to dig deeper into his interpretation: ‘You have to be committing genocide and starting wars. What is actually bad about Nazis — it wasn’t their fashion or their mannerisms, it was the war and genocide.’ This form of logic is indicative of Musk’s typical thoughtful and nuanced approach to complex issues.
Over and beyond his discussions on Nazism, Musk was candid about the distress he experiences from online animosity. He described the pressure as ‘pretty stressful’ and shared the shocking revelation about individuals expressing their desire for his death.
A disturbing revelation indeed, Musk expressed, ‘They actually want to kill me. They say so online. There’s like Reddit forums where they don’t just want to kill me, they want to desecrate my corpse.’ This shows the deeply troubling side of the relentless scrutiny he faces due to his high-profile status.
