A pizza delivery driver in Kissimmee, Florida, has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a pregnant woman 14 times following a dispute over a $2 tip. The horrifying attack took place at the Riviera Motel, where the victim, her boyfriend, and her 5-year-old daughter were staying.
The Dispute
The incident began when Brianna Alvelo, 22, delivered a $33.10 pizza order to the victim. The woman paid with a $50 bill and requested change, but Alvelo reportedly claimed she had none. After searching for smaller bills, the victim tipped Alvelo $2. According to witnesses, Alvelo appeared displeased, rolling her eyes before leaving without speaking.
Later that night, Alvelo returned to the motel accompanied by a male accomplice. Both wore masks as they forced their way into the family’s room. The man brandished a firearm while Alvelo, armed with a knife, launched a brutal attack on the woman. In a desperate bid to protect her daughter, the victim sustained 14 stab wounds to her neck, torso, and back. The suspects fled, taking personal items from the room.
Victim’s Condition and Shocking Discovery
The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery for a punctured lung. During her treatment, she learned she was a few weeks pregnant. Thankfully, she and her unborn child are in stable condition.
