Days after the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk, fingers were eagerly pointed at Tyler Robinson, the man who allegedly triggered the calamity. In a truly astonishing move, Vice President JD Vance, along with other government officials, decided to take over Kirk’s podcast platform, with its audience base of over 3 million. Instead of ensuring justice, they turned it into a vent for their blatant propaganda, using it to pin the blame on liberals and target eminent individuals and institutions like George Soros and the Ford Foundation for not demonstrating enough grief at his demise.
It seems like the studio for the podcast was temporarily moved to Vance’s office, posing a distasteful show for the audience. It was a clear utilization of a tragic situation to pursue their own agenda, with a planned attack on liberals and any organizations or individuals who did not appropriately mourn Kirk’s death. The administration appears to be ardent in its determination to whip up a domestic battle way before any election and is currently focusing on urging individuals to challenge those around them, their neighbors or colleagues, for supposedly not showing enough grief towards Kirk’s loss.
The current administration seems unsure about their stance towards the legal implications of their actions. With Stephen Miller openly declaring their intentions to target left-wing non-profits by any and every possible means, legal or not, it certainly paints a dismal picture.
On a separate occasion, Donald Trump was overheard discussing ‘radical groups getting away with murder’. Along with the Attorney General of the US, Pam Bondi, he revealed plans to press RICO charges against unnamed but influential individuals who had allegedly used ‘millions and millions of dollars for agitation’. Trump, who has shown scant regard for the First Amendment, even suggested the possibility of prosecuting people in DC for expressing themselves by displaying a trans flag.
It’s essential to understand that as per the information available, Charlie Kirk’s murder wasn’t politically motivated. The purpose of a political murder is to make a politically-inflected point which is completely missing in this case. Signs point towards the act being one for gaining attention in some game-playing fraternity, rather than a political message.
Robinson, the alleged shooter, seemed to have been submerged into such a community. Kash Patel, a government functionary, claimed that Robinson had left a note. However, the note was allegedly destroyed, and we are unable to confirm its contents. As it stands, Robinson chooses to remain silent, much to the regime’s chagrin.
In a desperate bid to establish a political motive, the administration has tried to label Robinson’s roommate as transgender, simply because of this individual’s appearance and likes, even though this individual never claimed a transgender identity. This desperate attempt at proving a political motivation falls flat.
Vice President JD Vance decided to begin the podcast by tugging at the heartstrings of his audience with a slideshow tribute to Kirk, extolling his virtues and his support for Trump. However, it took him barely a quarter of an hour to switch gears and start blaming ‘leftist extremism’. The strategy to invoke sympathy and then to shape sentiments against perceived enemies was all too evident.
As one could guess, Stephen Miller was among the guests, and it wasn’t long before he started imitating Goebbels: ”We’re going after the NGO network that incites and participates in violence.’ Employing an unmistakable ‘us vs them’ approach, Miller didn’t shy away from making unsubstantiated claims that ‘People on the Left are much likelier to defend and celebrate political violence.’ This was Miller’s attempt to avoid admitting that violent acts were a product of both sides of the political spectrum.
Assigning blame has always been simple for those in power. Mere hours before Kirk’s untimely death, a crime committed by a member of neo-Nazi forums echoes the hypocrisy of their claims – a sixteen-year-old boy opened fire on two students and took his own life in Colorado. Sadly, a narrative that paints them as the perpetual victims contradicts the frightening reality.
Everytime someone takes pains to assert that their story is the truth, the desperation to make you believe it is palpable. And more often than not, it ends up being far from it. That the president himself doesn’t engage much with books becomes a matter of public concern. His inner circle has clarified that he owns a collection of Hitler’s speeches, ‘My New Order’, another obstacle standing in the way of seeing their claims as the truth.
With Vice President JD Vance, Stephen Miller, and several other recent government hires so interested in political history, especially certain bleak periods, the danger bells start to ring. With a grim history serving as fodder, the plans they’ve been working on threaten to reshape the country. The question now is will their model of government find success here? Only time will reveal how far the Supreme Court’s six will allow this him to go.
