According to a statement released by the department, a training exercise was performed by the U.S. Capitol Police and other law enforcement agencies on the Capitol grounds during the early hours of Sunday morning.
“Sunday, November 19 – starting at 4:00 a.m., we will be conducting a training exercise with our military partners on Capitol Grounds. Please do not be alarmed if you see emergency vehicles,” the post said.
The U.S. Capitol Police did not provide any supplementary details regarding their first announcement on Saturday.
Nevertheless, video footage of the training exercise conducted in the vicinity of the Capitol building was acquired during the early hours of Sunday.
“This is a training exercise,” stated an individual before undergoing a brief interrogation conducted by a law enforcement official.

The USCP, in a statement released on Thursday, provided a justification for its actions by asserting that the demonstrators exhibited non-peaceful behavior, including the obstruction of exits through the placement of dumpsters and the use of pepper spray against police officers.

Shawn has consistently held a prominent position within the Jewish Voice for Peace, an organization that advocates against the establishment of Israel. The organization attributed responsibility for the recent Hamas terrorist assaults to “Israeli apartheid and occupation — and United States complicity in that oppression.”
