Navy Member’s Unauthorized Attempt at Biden’s Medical Files

A member of the Navy made an unauthorised attempt to gain entry to President Biden’s confidential medical files earlier this year, leading to disciplinary measures, revealed by a military official this Tuesday. This failed breach took place on February 23, with the individual in the spotlight assigned to the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command at Fort Belvoir, situated in the northern part of Virginia. Navy reports remained tight-lipped about the identity of the perpetrator, only revealing that this particular sailor had performed a search for ‘Joseph Biden’ in the military’s electronic health database three times over the span of a few hours, driven by a mere ‘curiosity.’

Both CBS News and ABC News were the first to report this disciplinary action against the sailor. This episode follows something of a controversy that has plagued President Biden – his health status and mental sharpness. This came into harsh light when his performance during the debate hosted on June 27 was met with intense scrutiny, leading to a surge in Democrats questioning his suitability for a re-election bid.

In this questionable incident unfolding within the Navy, it was a fellow colleague of the sailor who initially reported the potential infringement of medical privacy laws. The detailed investigation was then handed over to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which completed its findings on April 24, as notified by Commander Hawkins.

Commander Hawkins clarified via an email that the record infiltrated by the sailor was not that of the current President of the United States. Asserting that ‘no personal information of the president was ever compromised,’ Hawkins refrained from divulging any further details on the punishment meted out to the sailor.

Choosing to leave the disciplinary details under wraps, the Navy maintained its silence regarding any punitive actions taken in this regard. In response to this inappropriate incident, the Biden team transferred all questions pertaining to this matter to the White House, which, interestingly enough, declined to comment immediately when asked on Tuesday.

It’s worth taking notice of the fact that in a race featuring Mr. Biden and ex-president Trump, who happen to be the oldest presidential nominees in the nation’s history, neither side has permitted the masses full access to their medical records. This would certainly raise eyebrows, as it casts a cloud of mystery and suspicion over their respective health statuses.

More recently, the spotlight has again focused on the Biden administration with questions arising about an expert on Parkinson’s disease from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center’s frequent visits to the White House. This specialist, Dr. Kevin Cannard, a neurologist by profession, has been reported to have visited the White House as many as eight times in a brief span of eight months.

These visits by Dr. Cannard span from the previous summer to this spring, with records indicating at least one meeting with Biden’s doctor. These series of visits were documented in the logs maintained for White House visitors, and raise further questions about Biden’s state of health.

Kevin O’Connor, the medical professional, who currently holds the title of the White House physician, released a statement on Monday night. He claimed President Biden has been seeing Dr. Cannard yearly as part of his annual health check-up regimen, and, according to the latest examination, there is no evidence suggesting Parkinson’s disease.
