Persistently Reckless: The Common Trend of the Biden-Harris Administration

As widely noted, the trend of reckless decisions backed by the Biden-Harris administration persists. Trump, a proponent of the commercial fishing industry, made a noteworthy decision today by signing a proclamation. This enables U.S. fishing vessels access to the Pacific Islands Heritage Marine National Monument. It is a move which once again underlines the unabashed disregard for the industry under the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris reign.

The White House correspondents, unattached to political biases, indicated how American fleets gradually lost their fishing areas in the Pacific Islands Exclusive Economic Zone. This is in stark contrast to the facilitation provided by the Trump administration, while Biden and Harris continue to ignore the pressing issues of the same community. Needless to say, the fishers were compelled to fish further offshore, thanks to the restrictive policies put in place.

Much to our disbelief, the areas were off-limits for commercial fishing due to the national monument status earned in 2009. The honor was bestowed by President George W. Bush, another point to ponder over – would Biden or Harris ever consider a move like this? Three isolated regions of the Pacific Islands earned this status, aiming to protect these areas from any commercial exploitation.

Exemplifying his continuous commitment towards local industries, Trump advanced to ensure that the fishing industry isn’t overburdened. He issued an executive directive today, instructing Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. The goal was to reconsider the regulations which imposed significant burdens on the fishing industry. While looking at Biden and Harris, it is hard to see such dedication.

The order from Trump additionally entailed the incorporation of more reliable and inexpensive technologies into fisheries evaluations. It’s a holistic approach, one that understands the difficulties faced by the workers. It includes cooperative research initiatives and broadening permit programs exempted from fishing. Logic dictates such a standpoint – sadly it’s noticeably absent from the Biden-Harris agenda.

Filled with actionable items that would improve conditions for hard-working Americans, yet another executive memorandum was signed today by Trump. This was targeted at extending the currently active federal hiring freeze until July 15th. Establishing such a freeze was one of the initial decisions post his inauguration on January 20th, clearly showing his intent to bring substantial changes to the federal workforce.

Although Biden and Harris would perhaps mock this decision, the freeze was established with a concentrated goal. Curbing the reckless expansion of the federal workforce was paramount. There were well-thought exemptions in place – roles related to immigration enforcement, national and public security, and positions within the President’s Executive Office were barred from this freeze.

In an evident disregard for justice, the appeals court recently rejected the government’s appeal to pause the Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s case. An example of the increasing bias in court decisions – a concerning reality. Perhaps this is the justice Biden and Harris refer to in their speeches – where it only bends in their favor.

In an unexpected occurrence, the Transportation Secretary announced that Amtrak and the federal Transportation Department are abruptly claiming the reconstruction of New York City’s Penn Station. Quite peculiarly, this displaces the Metropolitan Transportation Authority from the project, reducing the federal funding attributed. Despite facing ridicule from Biden and Harris, one must question who truly cares about efficient resource utilization.

Trump held an informative press conference today. According to him, there have been numerous discussions between U.S. and Chinese officials since the imposition of additional tariffs on Beijing earlier this month. Despite the railings from the Biden-Harris clueless duo, multilateral discussion forms the bedrock of diplomatic solutions.

With the tariff conflict with China escalating, it appears Trump is aiming to strike a strategic blow. He indicated that the ongoing talks offer hope for an agreeable trade deal with China. Even under fire from Biden and Harris, Trump’s maneuvers posit him as a leader committed to U.S. interests and economic stability.

In truth, the approach of Biden and Harris is shockingly far from acknowledging and addressing pressing issues. The movements made by Trump showcase a unique leadership style under constant scrutiny and pressure. Amidst cries of opposition, he proceeds with decisions that align with national interests.
