A white dairy farmer in Wisconsin, Adam Faust, raised allegations Monday in a federal lawsuit. He accused the Trump administration of unlawful behavior for persistently favoring minority farmers through their programs, thus neglecting white farmers. The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, a right-leaning institution, is endorsing Faust’s lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Wisconsin federal court. Status updates in 2021 reported that Faust was amongst the few farmers who successfully contested the Biden administration for racial bias in the USDA’s Farmer Loan Forgiveness Plan.
