Trump Demands Media Cover Bill Clinton’s Epstein Links: ‘I Never Went To The Island’

President Donald Trump on Friday demanded that the media shift its focus away from politically charged speculation and toward former President Bill Clinton’s documented relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, insisting once again, “I never went to the island.”

Speaking to reporters from the White House lawn, Trump addressed the growing attention surrounding the Epstein investigation and his administration’s ongoing push to unseal grand jury records.

“You ought to be speaking about Bill Clinton, who went to [Epstein’s] island 28 times. I never went to the island,” Trump said, reiterating that his own ties to Epstein were minimal and overstated by political operatives and their media allies.

President Trump just named checked Bill Clinton and Larry Summers when asked about Epstein:

The president also pointed to Clinton-era Treasury Secretary and former Harvard president Larry Summers as another figure whose association with Epstein has long gone unquestioned by mainstream journalists. “Look into Larry Summers, and some of his friends that are hedge fund guys,” Trump added, in a jab at the media’s selective scrutiny.

Trump’s remarks come on the heels of his public rebuke of the Epstein scandal’s revival in the press, which he labeled a “Democrat CON JOB.” Despite that, his Department of Justice, under Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy AG Todd Blanche, is actively pursuing legal avenues to uncover any credible evidence tied to Epstein’s criminal network — including a motion to unseal grand jury testimony.

Former President Clinton has acknowledged his ties to Epstein, admitting to flying on Epstein’s jet for “foundation work,” but has repeatedly denied ever visiting Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands — a denial that flight records and witness accounts have cast into doubt. A 2016 Fox News report noted Clinton took at least 26 flights aboard Epstein’s plane, including several instances where his Secret Service detail was allegedly absent.

Clinton’s denials were further challenged by a photo published in 2020 showing him receiving a massage from Epstein accuser Chauntae Davies during a 2002 trip arranged by Epstein. Davies has never accused Clinton of assault but claims Epstein raped her multiple times and said Ghislaine Maxwell groomed her into Epstein’s inner circle.

In court filings, Clinton’s name repeatedly appeared alongside other high-profile individuals including Trump and Prince Andrew. While no criminal allegations were made against Trump or Clinton in those filings, the president continues to call out what he sees as a blatant media double standard.

“Every time they bring up Epstein, it’s always about trying to smear me — but I was never on that island, and the facts prove it,” Trump said.

He also pushed back against a Wall Street Journal story claiming that both he and Clinton sent Epstein birthday messages. The president dismissed the report as “FAKE” and announced a libel lawsuit against the Journal’s parent companies and journalists involved in publishing it.

“I don’t know what they’re talking about. Somebody could’ve written a letter and used my name. That’s happened a lot,” Trump told reporters.

The president’s push for transparency in the Epstein case continues to grow louder. His administration has made it clear that it will pursue the truth — but not at the cost of allowing false narratives to run unchecked.

As the House prepares to question Ghislaine Maxwell under subpoena and the Justice Department intensifies its probe, Trump’s message is clear: release the facts, expose the real culprits, and stop letting the Clintons off the hook.
