President Donald Trump blasted Iran in a fiery Truth Social post Saturday as fighting in the Middle East continues, declaring that the regime has been “beat to hell” and forced to back down after sustained military pressure from the United States and Israel.
Trump said Iran has already begun apologizing to neighboring countries and promised it would stop launching missiles at other nations in the region following the recent wave of strikes.
“Iran, which is being beat to HELL, has apologized and surrendered to its Middle East neighbors, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore,” Trump wrote. “Iran is no longer the Bully of the Middle East. They are, instead, THE LOSER OF THE MIDDLE EAST.”
The president argued that Iran’s sudden shift in tone is the direct result of relentless military pressure applied by American and Israeli forces during the ongoing conflict.
New tracking data from the missile campaign suggests the regional scope of Iran’s attacks has been broader than initially believed. Updated figures show that more than 40 percent of Iran’s missile launches during the conflict have been directed at the United Arab Emirates, totaling more than 1,200 missiles.
By comparison, roughly 20 percent of the missiles were aimed at Israel, while the remaining launches were spread across multiple neighboring countries in the Middle East.
The numbers challenge early assumptions that Israel was Iran’s primary target and instead indicate that Tehran expanded its missile campaign across a wide range of regional rivals as the conflict intensified.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who is part of the three man leadership council governing the country following the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, released a video message apologizing to neighboring countries that were struck by Iranian missiles.
“I should apologize to the neighboring countries that were attacked by Iran, on my own behalf,” Pezeshkian said. “From now on, they should not attack neighboring countries or fire missiles at them unless we are attacked by those countries. I think we should solve this through diplomacy.”
Despite the apology, Trump warned that the conflict may be far from over and suggested additional military action could take place soon.
In the same Truth Social post, the president wrote that Iran “will be hit very hard today,” signaling that further strikes could be imminent as U.S. and allied forces evaluate new targets.
Trump said areas and groups previously not under consideration are now being reviewed for potential strikes due to what he described as Iran’s continued bad behavior.
The president also claimed that leaders across the Middle East have privately thanked him for confronting the Iranian regime and weakening its regional influence.
Trump argued that Iran had long sought to dominate the Middle East but has now suffered a historic setback following the current conflict.
“It is the first time that Iran has ever lost, in thousands of years, to surrounding Middle Eastern countries,” Trump wrote.
The escalating rhetoric comes as U.S. and Israeli forces continue operations against Iranian military infrastructure and proxy networks throughout the region, with the conflict now entering its second week.
