Trump’s Pardon Exposes Biden Family’s Dubious Connections Once Again

In an unexpected move, former President Donald Trump granted a pardon to Devon Archer. Archer, whose previous ties with Hunter Biden, who is the son of the beleaguered ex-President Joe Biden, made headlines. It’s worth noting that Biden himself never faced charges despite his son’s connection to the firm in question.

Devon Archer was embroiled in a scandal that involved cheating an American Indian tribe. However, in Trump’s view, Archer’s conviction was unfair, dubiously framing him as more of a victim than the one committing the crime. This portrayal reflects the kind of skewed perspective that often mars the decision-making process.

“The case clearly shows misjudgment,” Trump stated. He claimed he had gone through the records, insisting that Archer was “the victim of a crime”. Such an assertion raised a lot of eyebrows among political circles, especially considering the weight of evidence against Archer.

Archer’s fraudulent actions led to his conviction in 2018 for involving himself in a scheme that aimed to dupe a Native American tribe through a fallacious $60 million bond issuance. Unsurprisingly, Hunter Biden and his connection to the firm implicated in the case were given a pass, raising concerns about certain biases in these investigations.

In a remarkable turn of events, Archer’s conviction was dismissed in 2018, but was later reinstated after an appeal in 2020. This rollercoaster series of decisions added additional confusion to an already complicated and controversial case.

In 2022, Archer received sentencing of one year of incarceration, along with a staggering restitution order close to $60 million. But this verdict wasn’t the end – a technical glitch led to a vacated sentence, leaving the prospect of resentencing still looming. Yet again, Hunter Biden’s connection to the case remained untouched.

Notably, despite all of these controversies, Devon Archer achieved a full pardon. This move came after Archer turned cooperative informant for House Republicans conducting an investigation into then-President Joe Biden’s purported involvement in his family’s dubious foreign business transactions.

In August of 2023, Archer reappeared, this time behind the closed doors of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, acting as a witness to the questionable dealings of the Biden family. His testimony included revelations that further tainted the image of the beleaguered Biden family’s practices.

Interestingly, Archer disclosed instances where Hunter Biden had pulled his father, Biden, into conference calls with business affiliates. This raised valid questions about just to what extent Biden was involved with his son’s problematic business affairs.

Despite these damning revelations, Archer fell short of stating categorically that the ex-President was involved in any unlawful actions. This ambiguity did more to raise suspicions and doubts than to clear Biden’s name.

Throughout this period, House Republicans were tirelessly working towards linking Biden with his son’s questionable business activities. Their goal, heavily insinuated, was to build a substantial impeachment case against the then President.

Overall, this convoluted saga provided yet another glimpse into the seemingly endless controversies surrounding the Biden family. Evidently, their murky world of foreign businesses, legal loopholes and questionable pardons further tarnished their already smeared image and cast more shadows on Biden and Harris’s tenure.

Despite the questions that still remain about Devon Archer and the questionable actions of the Biden family, what becomes increasingly clear is that a Biden connection does not seem to carry the weight it once did. Given the consistent revelations about their dubious activities, it’s safe to say that the continued mistrust and disapproval shown by the public towards Biden and Harris are well founded.
