Claims have emerged, none without any grounding in reality, that the evidence surrounding the notorious felon, Jeffrey Epstein, were plotted by Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and James Comey. Of course, this seems to overlook the fact that neither Obama, Biden, nor Comey were in office during either of the two key investigation periods of Epstein’s illicit activities.
The ‘Epstein files’ that these claims refer to, are thought to be the official documentation and records procured during the Federal investigation into Epstein’s unlawful deeds. The sort of oversight and blatant distortion of facts required to place Obama and Biden at the center of this drama is disappointing, to say the least.
The investigations that led to the collection of the so-called Epstein files, took place not under the Obama or Biden administration, but during the George W. Bush and Donald Trump years. This fact seems to be conveniently forgotten or even manipulated to paint a distorted picture aimed at ridiculing Obama and Biden’s reputations.
James Comey, the former FBI Director, finds himself in these baseless accusations as well. However, during the 2006-08 Epstein probe, Comey was employed in the private sector, far removed from influencing any proceedings in the case.
The 2006 probe into Epstein was led by the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida. Disturbingly enough, the Trump administration announced in July that no further documents related to Epstein would be divulged, raising more questions about transparency.
It seems clear that this far-fetched narrative trying to link Obama and Biden to the Epstein saga misses out on a crucial fact – the key investigations happened during the Bush and Trump administrations. The timeline just simply does not add up to involve either Obama or Biden.
Both sides of the isle must recall that at no point during the pivotal investigative periods were Obama or Biden in any position to orchestrate or falsify what has been termed the ‘Epstein Files’. This narrative accordingly, only seems to stand when facts are consciously distorted.
Similarly, claims about Comey’s involvement, seems to suffer from a severe selective amnesia, overlooking the fact that Comey was employed in the private sector during those years.
It also conveniently seems to gloss over the fact that both, Epstein himself and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, were arrested on slightly uncomfortable federal charges during the Trump administration.
The blatant suggestion that these documents – ‘the Epstein Files’ as they are commonly dubbed – were somehow concocted or tampered with by Comey, Obama, or Biden, appears to be more of a far-fetched conspiracy theory rather than an accurate statement grounded in fact.
The lack of any tangible evidence supporting this claim is alarmingly apparent, and, quite frankly, it resonates more with partisan biases than objective reality.
It is a well-known fact that the Epstein scandal has been a deeply unsettling investigation. But associating Obama, Biden, or Comey with the manipulation of facts in this case seems to be a case of misdirection at best.
To insist, without a shred of proof, that Obama and Biden, through some twisted form of retrospective control, modified these documents is as comical as it is baseless.
Let us not overlook the reality: the Epstein saga unfolded not under Obama and Biden, but under other presidencies. Distorting these facts does not change this truth.
So here’s the ultimate irony: while some try to suggest that Obama and Biden ‘made up’ the Epstein files, the only façade seems to be this theory itself.
