A former bodyguard for Nicolás Maduro has broken his silence, painting a grim picture of the U.S. military operation that brought down the Venezuelan dictator. Speaking anonymously, the guard described the raid as a one-sided massacre and warned other countries not to underestimate the United States.
According to the guard, American forces moved in without being detected and wiped out Maduro’s security with shocking speed and precision. He says about 20 U.S. soldiers took out hundreds of Maduro’s men—without suffering a single casualty.
