Disgust Over What Michelle Obama Just Got Paid $700K To Do…

Former First Lady Michelle Obama, who frequently portrays herself as a figure subjected to adverse circumstances, received compensation of over $700,000 for delivering a speech of one-hour duration in Germany.

In a speech delivered in 2018, Michelle Obama expressed the viewpoint that “There’s only so much you can eat. There’s only so big a house you can have. There’s only so many nice trips you can take. I mean, it’s enough.”

She delivered a speech at a start-up event hosted during the traditional Oktoberfest beer festival.

According to the event’s official webpage, an estimated attendance of approximately 5,000 individuals was anticipated to gather and listen to her address on strategies for overcoming self-doubt, alongside an emphasis on the significance of fostering inclusion and diversity.

As to the organizers’ statement, Michelle Obama “topped the list” as the preferred candidate to deliver a speech at the event in Germany.

According to a source cited in The Daily Mail, significant efforts were made to apprehend her.

This represents “One of the highest fees that they have ever paid.”

Since departing from their tenure in the White House, the Obamas have been amassing substantial financial resources.

The authors were granted a financial agreement of $65 million from Penguin for the publication of their memoirs.

In 2018, a multi-year arrangement was also entered into by the aforementioned entity with Netflix.

Ted Sarandos, the current Co-CEO of Netflix, served as the Ambassador to the Bahamas during the years 2009 to 2011 under the administration of President Obama.

In the year 2019, the corporate entity owned by the Obamas, known as Higher Ground Productions, sent a demand to a separate corporate entity, originally established in 2008 under the name Higher Ground Enterprises, requesting that it relinquish its trademark.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Higher Ground Productions has submitted a request to the US Patent & Trademark Office to initiate the cancellation of the trademark registration for “Higher Ground Enterprises.”

According to the publication, “Higher Ground Enterprises is run by Hanisya Massey, who, according to her attorney Larry Zerner, is in the business of helping authors publish e-books. … On April 10, a Trademark Examiner refused to register the Obamas’ claimed mark with a nod to the one held by Massey. The Obamas … argued the two marks could co-exist in the marketplace.”

The production business affiliated with the Obamas made a statement:

“The consumers of “media production services” covered by the Application are likely to be highly sophisticated. Media production services are generally offered not to individual consumers but to commercial entities and professionals in their field.”

“Indeed, Applicant has entered a deal with Netflix in connection with its media production services. Such customers, whether multi-billion-dollar media companies or smaller commercial entities in need of media production services, will exercise the height of care in selecting a media production company and are highly unlikely to be confused by a photographer or e-book publisher — particularly when the other party uses a distinguishable mark.”

However, the United States Trademark Office expressed a differing opinion, offering a counterargument:

“The overriding concern is not only to prevent buyer confusion as to the source of the goods and/or services, but to protect the registrant from adverse commercial impact due to use of a similar mark by a newcomer.”

The Hollywood Reporter added:

“In a petition to cancel, the Obamas essentially allege that Massey doesn’t deserve a trademark because ‘Higher Ground Enterprises’ wasn’t actually in use at the time of its 2016 registration. (An online search turns up some early incorporation filings, though the digital trail at least seems thin.)”

Zerner responded angrily:

“The Obamas have known for almost a year that their Higher Ground trademark application was rejected by the USPTO because it infringed my client’s rights.”

“Instead of simply picking another name, the Obamas’ lawyers have now filed a meritless petition to cancel my client’s trademark so they can take it for themselves.”

“This is really deplorable behavior. I hope that the Obamas realize that these actions are not consistent with the values they preach and that they instruct their attorneys to immediately dismiss the petition.”

We’re learning all of this as speculations made by several political analysts and policymakers regarding the potential inclusion of Michelle Obama as a replacement for Joe Biden in the next 2024 electoral campaign on behalf of the Democratic Party.

According to a report by Breitbart, Cruz expressed his views on the podcast “Verdict with Ted Cruz,” when he speculated that Democrats would strategically introduce former First Lady Michelle Obama as a replacement for President Biden. Cruz also argued that former President Barack Obama wields significant influence over the Biden administration, thus acting as a “puppet master.”

Cruz stated “They’re looking at polling numbers that show two-thirds of Americans think he’s too old to be president.”

“They’re getting nervous about all of the evidence of Biden corruption — you’ve got Hunter being indicted, you’ve got all the connections to Joe, and then what we’ve seen in recent weeks is the media is turning on them,” Cruz went on.

The Texas senator concluded with the warning:

“And remember the role of the media. Sadly, they’re no longer journalists; they no longer report news.”

“They are the left-wing of the Democrat Party, and when the media turns on the presumed Democrat nominee, I think that is the cutting edge of the Democrat intelligence saying we may have to cut bait and find someone new.”
