Fulton County Sheriff Breaks Silence On What Happened Upon Trump’s Arrest

The day of August 24, 2023, will forever remain etched in the memory of Sheriff Pat Labat of Fulton County.

On that particular day, Labat observed the procedural activities undertaken by correctional facility personnel as they processed the former President, Donald Trump, alongside 18 other individuals who had been accused.

The allegations against them brought by Democrats alleged a collective effort to subvert the outcome of the 2020 election specifically inside the state of Georgia.

On Thursday night the Trump 2024 campaign texted a personal message from the former president.

The message began, “This is my last text to you before my arrest, Patriot. I hope you’ll read my personal note.”

“Today, I will be going to the notoriously violent jail in Fulton County, Georgia where I will be ARRESTED despite having committed NO CRIME. Isn’t it interesting that I went my entire life without ever getting arrested. But suddenly out of nowhere, once I decided to run for president as a political outsider and fight for the forgotten citizens of our country, I get ARRESTED FOUR TIMES within the span of just 5 months?”

“Not only that, a judge has ruled that today’s spectacle may be televised for the entire world to see. The American people know what’s going on. This is a punishment handed down from the Deep State for daring to challenge the status quo and give a voice to the Silent Majority. The Left wants to intimidate YOU out of voting for a political outsider who puts the American people FIRST. But today, I’m walking into the lion’s den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA,” Trump continued.

“When I walk into the jail to get wrongfully arrested, I will not cower, I will not sulk. I will stand tall and remain resolute in our mission to save America. And if you see me on TV during my sham arrest, just remember that YOU are the source of my courage, my hope, and my resolve to save our country,” the former president concluded.

Sheriff Labat provided a statement to CNN on Friday, expressing that it was “eerily quiet” as Trump underwent the process of having his photo captured and fingerprints recorded.

According to Labat, “He came out, he was very stoic. We took his mugshot, took his fingerprints as we would anybody else. And ultimately, we arranged for his bond paperwork to be brought to the motorcade so that we could get him in and off the premises as quickly as possible.”

Labat noted that observing the processing of Trump evoked a strong emotional response.

“For me, on a personal level, it was heartbreaking to see someone of that stature and who represents our country in that fashion, having to go through this but again,” Labat explained.

According to Labat, he assumed personal responsibility for overseeing the processing in order to preemptively address any instances of misinformation that might arise on social media platforms and other online domains.

Labat stated, “I wanted to make sure that when these fake accusations came out about the facility and the portion that he was in, I actually was there and witnessed the portions that he actually walked through very briskly.”

The sheriff expressed satisfaction with the successful execution of the planning and coordination efforts involved in facilitating the arrival and departure of President Trump from the correctional facility and conveyed a sense of pride in the performance of his staff.

“I’m very proud of the women and men of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, as well as the many local and state partners that really jumped in to help. It was a very well-thought-out plan,” Labat exclaimed.

Trump shared an image of his mugshot taken during his detention to social media site X (formerly Twitter), coupled with a hyperlink leading to his own website. The photo was emblazoned with the words:

Trump had not posted on the site in over two years.

President Joe Biden expressed satisfaction in a post on X, as former President Trump surrendered himself at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta subsequent to being indicted for contesting the outcomes of the 2020 election in Georgia.

Biden expressed his enthusiasm “Apropos of nothing, I think today’s a great day to give to my campaign,” This sentiment was conveyed through an egoistic post made at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time on the social networking site.

The timing of Biden’s tweet, characterized by an air of self-importance and solicitation, strongly suggested that he was expressing satisfaction with the perceived fraudulent legal pursuit of his primary electoral opponent.

The octogenarian statesman faced severe criticism on online platforms for his offensive rhetoric.

Why? To commend you for arresting the leader of the opposition party? pic.twitter.com/Il4vh9aYof

Attorney Mike Davis, a legal scholar specializing in constitutional law and with prior experience as a law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, advocated for the initiation of impeachment proceedings against President Biden by the House Republican caucus.

“Biden posted this as his chief political rival got booked. Again. By another Democrat prosecutor. In another Democrat hellhole. After colluding with the Biden Justice Department,” According to Davis.

He expressed his opinion that “It’s long past time for House Republicans to open an impeachment inquiry.”
