Jim Jordan, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is criticizing the Department of Justice for giving Hunter Biden “preferential treatment” and claiming that they handled the matter in a “ridiculous way.”
On “Fox Across America” with Jimmy Failla, Jordan disputed the assertion that Joe Biden had not once talked business with his son Hunter’s colleagues.
“He was at two dinners with business partners and people. They’re doing business with whatever the business was. He’s at one of those dinners where it’s Elena Baturina, the Russian oligarch, the wealthiest woman in Russia, worth over $1,000,000,000. He didn’t just stop by, he just didn’t call in, he spent the entire dinner there with Hunter Biden, Devin Archer, and other people who they were doing business with,” Jordan blasted.
“So, yeah, again, their story from the Bidens keeps changing. The story from the Garland Justice Department keeps changing. But you know whose story hasn’t changed? The two whistleblowers came forward a couple of weeks ago. Their story and their testimony have been consistent. It’s been validated by an FBI agent. I think I’ll believe those guys over the Justice Department and the White House,” he went on.
“I think the big takeaway is nothing has changed at the Justice Department. I mean, John Durham told us how bad it was, that it was all a lie, Crossfire Hurricane. He told us they got incredible intelligence that said this whole thing, the Trump-Russia narrative, was from the Clinton campaign. So, the intelligence is credible enough that he briefed the president, the vice president, attorney general, the director of the FBI puts it in a memo,” Jordan explained.
“And Jim Comey doesn’t share that memo with the agents doing the case. I mean, that’s how wrong. And now we get to this situation. We have a whistleblower come forward and say they were denied information that they should have had. Hunter Biden got special treatment, preferential treatment, and they ran this case in a ridiculous way.”
“So that to me is the big takeaway. Nothing has changed at the Justice Department, which is why what we do with the appropriations process and our focus on not allowing FISA to be reauthorized in its current form is so darn important,” The Ohio Congressman concluded.

The inquiry into the Biden family’s finances by the GOP is entering a “important final stage,” Jordan stated late in July, as they look into more than $17 million in foreign funds the Biden family received. Additionally, they are investigating the Justice Department’s allegedly ‘special treatment’ of Hunter Biden in the continuing criminal investigation into the president’s son for tax and gun-related offenses.
Jordan’s comments coincide with a recent bombshell claim that the president, despite the White House’s insistence that he has never been involved in his son’s business affairs, sat in on at least 24 talks with Hunter’s business associates, including Devon Archer. James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, will hear Archer testify that Joe spoke to Hunter’s business partners at least 24 times, including those at the Ukrainian oil company Burisma.
Jordan questioned, “What were the Bidens doing to get the money? I mean, 20 different shell companies, nine different Bidens getting paid. What was the service, the product, the value they add? The only logical explanation here is it was access to then-Vice President Biden.” Jordan told Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business.
Jordan responded that it was “a question for the full conference” whether or not articles of impeachment against Attorney General Merrick Garland would be considered.
He added that “evidence keeps piling up,” adding that “the speaker has been very clear; Speaker McCarthy has said if we have to go to an impeachment inquiry, we will, in fact, do that.”

Republicans draw attention to contradictions in the public statements made by Garland and U.S. Attorney Weiss on the Hunter case and the question of who had “full authority” to bring charges against Joe Biden’s son.
Concerning the articles of impeachment for Joe Biden specifically, Jordan stated that “more information needs to be compiled” and that “it may not be about the attorney general so much, although I think there’s important things there, it could be more about the president himself.”
He claimed that the disclosure of an FBI FD-1023 form by Sen. Chuck Grassley last week, which claimed that Joe and Hunter received $10 million from the CEO of Burisma as compensation for the dismissal of a Ukrainian prosecutor while Biden was vice president, is an important piece of proof.
According to Fox News, Jordan “told reporters Monday that the House Oversight Committee’s hearing with Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s longtime friend and fellow Burisma board member, was “very productive.””
Jordan said during a lunch recess that he looked forward to discussing the revelations of the hearing with the committee’s chairman, Rep. James Comer, R-Ky.
The congressman also said, “Yep,” when asked if he heard any new information from Archer.
