It is evident that Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, failed drastically in providing clear and direct answers during the recent debate. Instead of addressing the critical issues faced by our nation, she opted to swerve and dodge, offering irrelevant comments instead of precise solutions. Americans are in search of tangible results, not empty promises or evasive behavior.
Not only did she avoid answering essential questions but also failed to justify the performance of the current administration she is a part of. Despite the faltering economy, increased inflation, deficient border security, and unstable world affairs, the Biden-Harris administration appears to be idle.
A clear bias was evident in the behavior of the debate moderators. Their impartiality was called into question as they continually targeted Donald Trump with their reproaches, while neglecting to hold Harris to a similar level of scrutiny. Are media outlets such as ABC News no longer aiming for unbiased journalism?
Surprisingly, figures such as Taylor Swift emerged promoting Harris without considering the ongoing economic plight faced by the majority of Americans. The adverse economic impacts triggered by the Biden/Harris administration seem to have insulated her from the struggles faced by the average person.
Amidst the current chaos, these influential figures appear to be willingly oblivious to the real concerns of everyday citizens. Swift especially, in her support for the failing administration, seems to have lost touch with the reality of the American majority. Demanding excuses instead of actions appears to be their disheartening stance.
Examining the current state of affairs, one cannot help but ask, how did we devolve to such a point? The supposed ‘presidential’ representative of a celebrated political party brazenly fabricated claims about migrants and newborns without any substantial evidence.
During the debate, anyone with an impartial view could clearly discern the disparity between the visions put forward for our nation’s future. Unfortunately, the vision presented by the Democrats seemed to reside solely in shifting responsibility and scapegoating rather than offering constructive solutions.
Comparing Harris’s evasive stances with Trump’s direct and factual approach was enlightening. Although critics claimed Trump was ‘spiraling out of control’, it was more apparent that he refused to participate in these political charades or adopt any conspiracy theories unlike his opponent.
Despite provocations and attempts to ensnare him in the debate, Trump maintained his composure while Harris gleefully jumped on the assortment of topics as if trying to distract herself from the real issues at hand. It’s intriguing how the discourse, rather than focusing on pressing issues, was diverted into ridiculing Trump.
Ironically, although Harris dubbed Trump’s future policies as ‘old’, she refrained from presenting any novel policies of her own. Furthermore, her attempt to distance herself from Biden and associate herself with leadership became noticeably apparent. Despite all this, her capacity to lead remains doubtful.
During the debate, both Trump and Harris seemed like children incessantly squabbling over trivial matters. However, notable differences in their stances were evident which are indicative of their leadership styles and political views.
Being victorious in a single debate doesn’t necessarily predicate a successful presidency. Harris entering the debate had the onus of proving that she could hold her own alongside Trump and exhibit the necessary qualities of a president. However, her performance during the debate did more to question her fitness for the role rather than solidifying it.
In conclusion, Trump maintained his image as a leader that Americans have grown to trust and respect. Although he was unfairly targeted during the debate and painted in a negative light, his resilience, composure, and focus on real issues were more appealing for Americans struggling under the Biden/Harris administration. A truly unbiased observer would see that there is still much fight left in him. The American people now have the task of deciding, are they satisfied with excuses or are they ready for actual results?
