According to RadarOnline.com, the discredited Fox News reporter who was accused of raping a coworker is in trouble once more for reportedly driving while intoxicated in Florida.
When a sheriff’s officer saw Ed Henry’s black Cadillac Escalade coasting down the street with a flat tire and metal rim audibly grinding against the pavement on June 20 in West Palm Beach, at approximately 8 p.m., he was detained. Henry was the former top White House correspondent and co-anchor of the America’s Newsroom.
According to a deputy’s report obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, Henry, who is the subject of an ongoing federal sexual harassment complaint, appeared unaware of the damaged tire as he casually took a corner at a typical speed.
“In doing this the front driver’s (side) tire came off the rim and rolled into the east bound lanes almost striking an oncoming vehicle,” the report stated. “That vehicle had to apply (it’s) brakes and swerve to avoid being hit by the tire.”
The 51-year-old Henry entered the Cadillac dealership and informed the deputy that he had been there to have the now-missing tire replaced.
“While Henry was talking, I was able to smell the odor of unknown alcohol coming from his breath,” the deputy stated on the report. “Henry had glassy and bloodshot eyes…His gait was unsteady. His speech was slightly slurred.”
Henry admitted to downing two bourbons between 6 and 7 p.m. while hanging out at neighboring Singer Island, despite the deputy describing him as “cooperative and polite”.
Additionally, according to the study, Henry failed the “one leg stand,” the “walk and turn,” and the “finger to nose” tests because he consistently utilized the pad of his finger rather than the tip of his finger. “He swayed during the tasked and tilted his head forward.”
Documents reveal that Henry was detained despite voluntarily submitting to an alcohol breath test that resulted in a reading barely below the legal limit of.08 percent. Henry was characterized as being “calm” and “quiet” during his detention as he reportedly declined to answer any questions and reportedly exercised his right to legal representation.
