Kamala Has 4 Words When Asked About Threat Of Trump Victory

Kamala Harris appeared on Face the Nation this weekend for a blistering interview, showing that while the Democrat Party is ready to put her back into the White House in 2024, the media is not so much behind that idea.  What Harris said was more of her legendary word salad that her supporters love so much about her.

And what she said about getting back to the White House was even more unsettling.

First, she skirted the issue of the chaos at the southern border without explaining why she has allowed a disaster to occur there.

Watch as she gets confronted and answers with a cold detachment from the real concerns that Americans have:

“When the border crossings went down earlier in the summer, the administration said it was due to your policies working. Now they’re going back up … does that show the strategy is no longer working?” Harris was asked.

KAMALA HARRIS: “Absolutely not

The interview was not well received by the public who reacted online:

Saw you on Face the Nation yesterday. You refused to answer the simple question of when the cutoff date would be. 16 weeks, 20 weeks, up until the moment of birth? You’re a typical politician who sidesteps the real questions. Dear Lord, don’t let this woman become President.

What we know is that there are powerful forces behind Harris who want to see her take over DC- as President.  And the press is pushing her to respond to how she feels about that, which was released in the weekend interview.

It looks like the “fix is in” and that makes what was said by Harris, about getting back to the White House all the more disturbing.

So the biggest takeaway from the interview is when the two women were talking about Joe Biden.

VICE PRESIDENT VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: We’re delivering for the American people.

And the reality of it is that, unfortunately, very few of those who would challenge our administration actually have a plan for America. You look at what we have accomplished, Margaret. We have created over 800,000 new manufacturing jobs in America, 13 million new jobs, and unemployment at record lows.

We have capped the cost of insulin for seniors at $35 a month, capped the cost of prescription drugs on an annual basis at $2,000.

MARGARET BRENNAN: They’re talking about…

VICE PRESIDENT VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: … for seniors.

MARGARET BRENNAN: … what you would do as president as being a risk. They’re honing in on you.

Why do you think that is? How do you respond to those attacks? That’s not about policy. That’s about you.

VICE PRESIDENT VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: Listen, this is not new. There’s nothing new about that.

I mean, listen, I am — in my career, I was a career prosecutor. I was the first woman elected district attorney of San Francisco, a major city in this country, and reelected. I was the first woman attorney general of the second largest Department of Justice in the United States and reelected.

I was a United States senator. I represented one in eight Americans, and I’m now vice president of the United States. They feel the need to attack because they’re scared that we will win, based on the merit of the work that Joe Biden and I and our administration has done.

And let me tell you something. I work with Joe Biden every day. Under Joe Biden’s leadership, we have transformed and are in the process of transforming America’s infrastructure with a historic investment in, not only roads and bridges, but high-speed Internet, what we are doing around issues like lead pipes. And I could go on and on.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Are you taking the threat of a second Trump presidency seriously enough?

That is where the media really sat up.

“Harris dropped a big prediction about the 2024 election after CBS’s Margaret Brennan questioned her about national polls, Ben Blanchet reported for Mediate, adding that at [01:43] in the interview, he really took notice of what was said:

“Vice President Kamala Harris answered CBS’s Margaret Brennan with silence after the “Face the Nation” host questioned her about former President Donald Trump’s possible return to the White House.”

“Are you taking the threat of a second Trump presidency seriously enough?” Brennan asked Harris before a roughly two-second pause.

“I don’t understand the question,” Harris replied.

Brennan went on to describe Harris as “dismissive” of Republican criticism aimed at her and President Joe Biden before pointing to Trump’s performance in national polls.

A number of polls released in the past month found either a thin lead for one of the candidates or a tie race between Trump and Biden.

“When you look at current polling, the front-runner for a Republican nomination is the former president, the 45th president,” Brennan said to Harris.

“We will win reelection,” Harris responded.

“Do you feel —,” said Brennan before Harris cut in.

“We will win, we will win reelection. There is too much at stake and the American people know it,” Harris said.

The tense exchange between the two followed Brennan touching on Republicans taking aim at Harris as they linger on concerns that Biden, who would turn 86 at the end of his term, wouldn’t be able to finish his second term.

Brennan later noted Democrats were concerned with Biden’s age as well and cited a recent Wall Street Journal poll that found two-thirds of Democrats describing Biden as “too old” to run for president.

“Are you prepared to be commander in chief?” Brennan asked.

“Yes, I am, if necessary. But Joe Biden is going to be fine,” Harris replied.
