Murdoch’s career spanned almost 70 years and he will continue as chair emeritus of both organizations.

Federal prosecutors are looking into whether an admitted felon helped arrange to give gold bars worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez or his wife in exchange for help, sources familiar with the matter tell News 4.
Investigators want to know if Menendez, a Democrat, offered to contact the Justice Department to try to help that man who was accused of banking crimes. Those questions are now before a federal grand jury in Manhattan that is considering whether to hand up corruption charges against the senior senator from New Jersey.
Part of the investigation centers on the senator’s ties to Fred Daibes, a New Jersey developer and one-time bank chairman. Officials with the FBI and IRS Criminal Investigation want to know if Daibes or his associates gave gold bars to the senator’s wife, Nadine Arslanian — gold bars worth as much as $400,000.
At the time of the gift handoff, Daibes was facing federal bank fraud charges that could have landed him up to a decade in federal prison.

Poll: Majority of Voters Say Joe Biden Committed Crime with Hunter Biden
A majority of voters believe President Joe Biden committed a crime with Hunter Biden, a Yahoo/YouGov survey released Wednesday found.
a majority of voters, 51 percent, believe Joe Biden committed a crime with Hunter Biden. Thirty-six percent say he did not.
A majority (50 percent) of voters also believe Joe Biden and his family are corrupt, including 56 percent of independent voters, the poll found. Only 39 percent of voters claim that they are not corrupt.
In addition, the poll found that 66 percent of voters approve of Special Counsel David Weiss’s recent indictment of Hunter Biden. Only 15 percent disapprove.

The program is intended to allow migrants to use IDs as their cases progress; the IDs contain QR codes allowing migrants to access their court documents to prove to authorities that they have pending immigration cases, allowing them to travel through Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints with greater ease.

a lawsuit aimed at disqualifying former President Donald Trump from the 2024 ballot in Arizona is set to be heard by a federal judge on October 23.
The lawsuit was filed in Arizona federal court by John Anthony Castro, who Arizona’s Family describes as a “long-shot Republican presidential candidate from Texas.” Castro, who claims to be mounting a nationwide write-in campaign, argued that Trump’s alleged role in the civil unrest on January 6, 2021, should preclude him from running for office.
However, Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes (D) dismissed the lawsuit as “a waste of taxpayer money,” noting that the question of Trump’s candidacy is “not ready for judicial action.”
A remarkable discovery inside a court motion today in Georgia. In the case against President Trump and 19 codefendants, District Attorney Fani Willis files a lengthy notice of conflict of interest against several defense attorneys in the case {SEE FILING HERE}.
Essentially, the issue is that several defense attorneys for the defendants also represented state witnesses in other legal matters involving the Georgia election in 2020. Within one of the notices given, Fani Willis notes well-known lawyer Lin Wood was a participating lawyer with Sidney Powell & others and is now a potential state witness against them.
