With a snap-share over 50% in five of his six games this season, Spears stands as an admirable complement to Derrick Henry. Spears has caught 15 balls on 20 targets this season, averaging an impressive 6.1 yards per touch. Let’s not overlook Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals when considering quarterbacks (42% rostered). Last week we urged you to secure Murray before he returned from IR when his availability was three-quarters across Yahoo leagues. This week you might need a bigger portion of your budget, but it should be worth that investment.
It’s been 10 months since Murray’s ACL injury and it’s plausible that the Cardinals’ new coaches may want to evaluate him in the second half of the season, regardless of their current standings. Reports suggest Murray’s return might happen around Weeks 9 or 10. Although he might not instantly replicate his 2020 performance, his fantasy potential is undeniable.
