Starbucks Horrifies Customers With Sick Move After Hamas Attack On Israel

A labor union, supported by Senator Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.), Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.), and other individuals with liberal ideologies, demonstrated sympathy with Hamas militants subsequent to the most severe act of domestic terrorism in Israel’s past.

Starbucks Workers United, a labor organization affiliated with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), conveyed their support for Palestine through social media posts that have since been removed. The union chapters located in Iowa, Chicago, and Boston have actively organized and advocated for protests in solidarity with the Palestinian attacks. Notably, a gathering titled “Long Live Palestinian Resistance” is scheduled to take place in Boston on Monday. Over the weekend, there was an incursion into southern Israel by Hamas, resulting in the loss of numerous Jewish lives. The number of Israeli civilian fatalities exceeds 700, while the American citizen death toll is at 9.

Joining other liberal American groups in supporting Palestinians over Israeli targets is the Starbucks union, which represents 9,000 baristas. Six House Democrats are members of the Democratic Socialists of America, which organized protests around the country to demand assistance for the Palestinian people. Numerous student organizations including the administration of Harvard University held Israel responsible for inciting the Hamas attack.

Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez, and Sen. John Fetterman (D., Pa.) all already endorsed Starbucks Workers United. When the union decided to establish the first store in Buffalo in 2021, Ocasio-Cortez applauded. The union was dubbed a “tremendous inspiration” by Sanders when it was founded that year. It was in July when Fetterman declared he would “continue to stand” with the union.

Perhaps there is no surprise in the union’s rhetoric. Jaz Brisack, one of the union’s founding organizers, called Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh a “freedom fighter,” according to the Washington Free Beacon. Her song, “From the river to the sea, Palestine shall be free,” is commonly seen as an incitement to exterminate the Jewish state.

There are no ‘two sides’ to apartheid, as Brisack tweeted on Sunday in favor of the attacks. Free Palestine.

Legislators and anti-Israel activists like Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) regularly utilize the charge of “apartheid” against Israel in an effort to weaken the Jewish state.

Some union members also supported Hamas’s attacks on Twitter. Hours after Hamas launched its invasion, a user going by the name of “Kyle – Starbucks Workers United” appeared to support terrorist violence.

“Freeing Palestine was never going to be flowers and baby animals,” he stated. “What the fuck did you expect?”

The SEIU is under pressure from critics to denounce the celebration of Hamas’s attacks by one of its member groups.

“As an affiliated union, the SEIU can’t take credit for Workers United’s organizing wins and then turn a blind eye when the union posts in defense of violent terrorist attacks,” Charlyce Bozzello, communications director at the Center for Union Facts, told the Free Beacon.

“The SEIU and its president, Mary Kay Henry, need to condemn these alarming statements from Workers United and its leadership,” Bozzello added.

Requests for comments from Starbucks Workers United and SEIU were not answered. The post by the union endorsing fighters from “Gaza resistance” was removed. Iowa City, Iowa stores’ social media profiles advertised a “Palestine Resists Occupation” demonstration at the Israeli consulate in Chicago.

The Boston chapter of the union said Monday that it stands “in solidarity with the people of Palestine and condemn[s] the [Israel Defense Forces] for senselessly and viciously bombing, murdering, and injuring innocent Palestinians.”

A few hours after the tweet, Abu Obaida, a spokesman for Hamas, declared that the terrorist organization will “execute an Israeli captive” on television in retaliation for any Israeli military action in Gaza.
