‘The Enemy Will Pay’ – Israel Suffers Unprecedented Attack

Israel’s leader pledged an immediate and deadly response to the unprecedented and huge attack on the country by Hamas terrorists.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, declared via video message early on Saturday morning, “Citizens of Israel, we are at war — not in an operation, not in rounds — at war.”

“The enemy will pay an unprecedented price,” he added, promising that Israel would “return fire of a magnitude that the enemy has not known.”

According to a statement from the Israeli military, terrorists from Hamas broke into Israeli territory on Saturday.

Rockets and gunfire were reported in Sderot and southern Israel, prompting residents in the vicinity of the Gaza Strip to stay inside their houses.

According to Netanyahu’s office, he will discuss the operation with senior security officials in the next few hours.

In the Gaza Strip, dozens of Israeli fighter jets were observed carrying out strikes against several Hamas terrorist targets.

Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant has declared a “special security situation” in Israel’s homefront, within a range of 0-80 km from the Gaza Strip, based on assessments made by the country’s defense establishment. This allows the IDF to close pertinent sites and provide safety instructions to civilians.

Israel and Gaza have fought in the past, and the current conflict, which began on Saturday, is predicted to continue for several days.
