Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant has declared a “special security situation” in Israel’s homefront, within a range of 0-80 km from the Gaza Strip, based on assessments made by the country’s defense establishment. Israel and Gaza have fought in the past, and the current conflict, which began on Saturday, is predicted to continue for several days.
