Why wasn’t HRC prosecuted for the emails? Put simply, Obama ultimately OK’d by using the non govt email addy to communicate w/ Clinton. Obama also had an alias along with each of his cabinet members. Therefore indicting HRC would lead to indicting Obama & his cabinet etc which could never happen. Remember he lied about knowing but that ultimately came out in the dump. Poof!

Kevin McCarthy to Push Biden Impeachment Inquiry as ‘Logical Next Step’ 

McCarthy plans to say that the two chairs have uncovered enough information that necessitates the House formalizing the impeachment inquiry in order to obtain the Bidens’ bank records and other documents.

It remains to be seen whether there are 218 House Republicans who’d vote to authorize an impeachment inquiry. 103 House Democrats Call Out Biden in Official Letter 

More than a hundred House Democrats are urging President Joe Biden to provide more privileges to illegal immigrants.

The Democrats called for executive action to benefit the interests of “certain undocumented individuals who are stuck in limbo and asylum seekers in obtaining work authorization.”
They asked for expedited work authorization for illegals — skipping the statutory 150 days an asylum seeker usually requires before applying for a work permit. 

Admission of foreign nationals to the U.S. labor market has the effect of reducing wages for American workers, according to a study by immigration economist George Borjas.
“The immigration surplus of $35 billion comes from reducing the wages of natives in competition with immigrants by an estimated $402 billion a year, while increasing profits or the incomes of users of immigrants by an estimated $437 billion,” the study found.

New Mexico Sheriff Announces Call for Special Leg. Session Over Crime: ‘Criminals Do Not Follow the Law’

  Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen,  unequivocally declared that he would not be enforcing the governor’s order and called for a special session to create real solutions to the city’s problems with gun violence.
While addressing reporters, Sheriff Allen argued that Lujan Grisham’s “temporary ban challenges the foundations of our Constitution.”
He continued:

My job is to keep the peace and to make sure that the citizens of Bernalillo County are safe. And I do not believe that this order will help me do so. I’m a law enforcement professional. This order will not do anything to curb gun violence other than punish law abiding citizens from their constitutional right to self-defense.

Biden Admin Might Send Ukraine Yet Another Weapon It Once Ruled Out

The Biden administration is close to sending Ukraine the long-range missiles formerly considered a bridge too far in giving Kyiv the capability to strike Russian territory and risk major escalation, according to media reports.
Kyiv has begged for the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) since near the beginning of Russia’s invasion in February 2022, arguing the missile’s 190-mile range affords the ability to strike deep into Russian defensive positions and possibly the aggressor’s sovereign territory. However, the White House worried that long-range missiles could increase the chances of conflict traveling further west into Europe, while the Pentagon said it did not have ATACMS to spare, according to Politico.

ATACMS are “coming” and “on the table,” one U.S. official told ABC News on Friday.

But, a decision is not final and could fall through, Reuters reported, also citing U.S. officials. If authorized, they would be available for rapid shipment to Ukraine as its military struggles to penetrate Russian lines and make progress in freeing occupied territory.

Virginia Lawmakers Approve Bill To Ban Teachers From Hiding A Child’s Gender Transition From Parents

The Virginia House approved a bill Tuesday which would prevent teachers from keeping a child’s social transition from their parents.
Sage’s Law is named after a 14-year-old girl who was sex trafficked twice and raped after the state removed her from her parents’ custody to protect her from “misgendering.” In a tearful testimony before the Virginia education committee last week, Sage’s mother, Michele, said that while she and her husband were prepared to use Sage’s masculine name and pronouns, the school and the state still insisted Sage would be harmed by her parents. While fighting for custody, Sage was kept in a male children’s home, where she was repeatedly assaulted.
 Sage’s law requires parents be notified if their child socially transitions to another gender, prohibits teachers from hiding that transition and clarifies the meaning of “child abuse” to not include “misgendering.”  
The bill passed the House 50 to 48 Tuesday and will be considered by the Virginia Senate.

“Sage will spend the rest of her life recovering. We can’t undo the harm done to Sage, but we can help protect others.”
