He pointed to new stone walkways, thicker seating cushions, and a new Presidential Walk of Fame featuring plaques honoring past presidents. He joked that the previous grass surface caused visitors wearing high heels to sink into the ground, prompting the redesign.
Dodgers players and staff presented President Trump with a personalized “Trump 47” jersey and a replica World Series championship ring during the ceremony. The team is seeking a third consecutive World Series title after winning back-to-back championships, and President Trump told the players he hopes to welcome them back to the White House again next year.
