Amidst the gathering of over 100,000 protestors against Joe Biden’s support of Israel in Washington, DC, rapper Macklemore surprised everyone by making an unexpected visit at a pro-Palestine demonstration.
The massive assembly is the most recent protest against Israel’s shelling of Gaza, which the state’s health ministry reports has killed over 9,250 people so far.
‘Thrift Shop’ singer unexpectedly stepped to the stage to denounce Israel’s retaliation strikes, even though he acknowledged he might not be the most ‘qualified’ person to make such a statement.
‘They told me to be quiet, they told me to do my research, to go back, that it’s too complex to say something, to be silent in this moment,’ said the artist, real name Benjamin Hammond Haggerty.
‘In the last three weeks, I’ve gone back and I have done some research, I’m teachable… I don’t know everything, but I know enough to know that this is a genocide.’
His speech was preceded by a tragic moment when the insignia of a terrorist organization was applauded outside the White House, as demonstrators were observed flying a Hezbollah banner through the throng.
As the march stopped at the Oval Office, protesters tried to scale the White House fence as the divisive slogan, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” resounded.
Prior to the march, the Israeli Embassy claims that anti-Semitic graffiti such as “Death to Israel” and “Glory to our martyrs” was also sprayed on buildings in Washington, DC.
The protesters are calling for an end to US military assistance to Israel as well as the retaliatory attacks that the country has been subjected to against Gaza since the terror attack by Hamas on October 7 that claimed 1,400 lives.
‘Allahu akbar’ and ‘f*** Joe Biden’ were yelled loudly during the protest march towards the White House. Later, red hand prints were observed imprinted against walls in close proximity to the presidential house.
Protesters brandished posters that said, “stop bombing kids” and “let Gaza live,” as several were observed attempting to scale the White House barrier.
‘By the millions, we’ll be back,’ the crowd chanted at the presidential residence, as another activist appeared to hold a sign supporting the Hamas attacks reading, ‘Resistance is justified when people are occupied.’
According to the protest organizers, dramatic aerial photographs showed the streets of Washington, DC, crowded with people, supported by pro-Palestine supporters being driven by rented busses from throughout the US.

The rally takes place at a time when tensions over the Middle East conflict are running high across the US, with many demonstrators charging the US with supporting war crimes.
One sign included an image of Biden covered in blood and said, “One child is killed in Gaza every ten minutes. Gaza has turned into a graveyard for children.”
Jews of many backgrounds, including Orthodox, supported the demonstration by holding signs that said, “Judaism condemns Zionist terrorism in Gaza.”
The event had the endorsements of 443 organizations, including Christian and other religious organizations, anti-war coalitions, and environmentalists, in addition to nine Palestinian organizations named as co-sponsors.
Similar demonstrations have occurred across the nation, including in smaller communities like Orono, Maine, as well as in New York, Seattle, and San Francisco, preceding the Washington march.
‘Busloads’ of demonstrators from the Big Apple also arrived at Herald Square to show support for the D.C. march.
